Josh is practically glowing with male pride as we walk into the apartment building, a smirk adorning his face. I admit I my be smirking too. The door man gives us a second glance as he pulls open the door. I smoothed down my hair as much as possible and I straightened my dress however in the process of having sexual intercourse Josh lost my underwear, only the bra was able to be recovered. I sigh in relief when I make it inside away from the wind that could at anytime lift up my dress. Josh decided to embrace the messy, I just had sex look and I can't say I disagree.

We step in the elevator and just as the door is about to close a lady glides through the closing doors so smoothly I thought she'd reach back through and grab her hat. When she turns around to face us her eyes light up.

"Belle, how are you dear I haven't seen you for a while," she smiles kindly at me.

I smile back at her, "oh hello Sherry, I'm doing great actually, how are you?"

"I just got back from England," she says and her eyes light up even more as if she remembered something. "Oh that reminds me, I took that sample of art you gave me and they absolutely love it, especially the colour one. It really was a beautiful peice and it had so many admires."

I feel my cheeks heat up, "well that's good right?"

"It's great!" She beams at me. "Oh that reminds me, I wanted to ask you whether you'd be interested in an art scholarship, the school has already reviewed your art and accepted you into their course, I'd like to sponsor your tuition." She looks at me hopefully.

I gasp, "this sounds like a dream."

She laughs poshly, "oh I can assure you that this is very much a reality."

"What school is it?" I ask dreamily.

"The Royal College of art, it us a very pretregous school in England."

"England?" I ask as suddenly the glory of this dream fades, of course they would have to be a sacrifice.

She frowns sympathically, "I know darling it is a very long way from home." I nod as the doors open for her floor. "How about you think it over and get back to be about it, but the sooner the better," she says as she steps outside the elevator, the doors sealing shut behind her leaving no room for imput.

"That sounds like a great opportunity," Josh mumbles from behind me.

I gasp as I turn around to face him, I was so caught up in my excitement that I didn't realise he was still there.

"You do realise you'd have to move to England," he says, his voice overiding the quiet elevator music.

I nod my head, "yes I do."

"Well that's a brave proposal," he mutters.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I raise my eyebrows. "Aren't you happy for me?"

"So you're going to accept?" He asks.

I chew on the inside of my cheek, "well it is like as cheesy and cliché as it sounds my dream."

He doesn't answer as the elevator door opens once again, I step out and turn around to hear what else he has to say but he didn't follow me out and I watch as he watches me from inside the elevator as the doors slide shut.
