I couldn't help the small smirk fall onto my face as I looked at the photo on my phone, of the large red circles that covered my neck and beginning of my chest, the trail probably continuing further down.
My eyes wide as I took the phone from Crystal.
"What the actual fuck?" Steph declared as she looked down at my neck.
I rolled my eyes, Josh.
Crystal looked up her eyes narrowing at me, "Josh Denion?"
I raised my eye brows, "did I say that out load."
She nods and looks at me, "Josh Denion?"
I shake my head, "I don't even know who that is."
She nods, "of course you don't."
Shane looks at me, "does Josh, even go to our school?"
I chew the inside of my cheek and shake my head, "he's twenty two."
Steph finishes off her muffin and turns to me, food still in her mouth. "What's his last name?"
"Anderson?" It sounds more like a question but I suppose it must be if he's related to Mason.
Shane laughs, "you don't even know this guy."
I point to my neck and smirk, "I obviously know him on some level."
Shane rolls his eyes and Logan rubs the back of his neck nervously. "Anderson sounds familiar," he says curiously.
I nod my head, "yeah, Josh is Masons cousin. That's where I got the last name from."
Crystal nods her head, "makes sense."
Steph drains the rest if her hot chocolate and slams it down onto the counter as if finishing off a shot. I smile at her actions and she turns her infiltrating eyes on me. "So did you come straight from his place, or something?"
Shane sniffs the air, "well you don't smell like sex."
I narrow my eyes at them, "whose to say that we had sex." They give me a doubtful look.
Logan gives me an amused grin, "then how to you explain those then?" He asks pointing to one of the many circle bruises.
I shrug, "maybe I got attacked by an octopus."
They just choose ignore my last remark as Crystal bombards me with another question. "So did you or didn't you have sex last night?"
I open my mouth, ready to give another useless answer when Shane butts in. "Is that even a question?" He turns to me and smirks, "of course she had sex last night. What did you expect?"
I force out a laugh and a fake smile to cover up my hurt feelings. I shrug and reply innocently, "let's just say I had fun last night." I turn off my phone and place it on the counter, next to my hot chocolate. I straighten out my high waisted floral skirt and loosen out the loose white tank top that is tucked into it. I push up the sleeves of my tan jacked as I tie up my hair into a pony tail. "So what did you guys do last night?" I ask into the quiet banter.
Crystal shrugs, "we just had a movie marathon, pizza and social media."
I smile, "that sounds nice. So, what's the plan for today?"
Shane straightens up, "well, me and Logan were thinking about going rabbit hunting. But I doubt you'd want to come, so you can stay here with the girls and-" I cut him off.
"I haven't been hunting for ages," I grin.
Logan laughs, "I didn't take you for a hunter."
