I'm not sure how long we lay there but when the sun hung high in the sky our beautiful silence was interrupted by the rumble of a trucks motor. My head now lay comfortably on Mason's shoulder, his arm wrapped around me. I frown at the noise and begrudgingly open my eyes to investigate whats happening. I lift my head to seek out the culprit, it's a white Land Rover. One of the ones from Mason's garage however it's not clean anymore but splattered with mud.

I attempt to sit up but Mason's grip on me tightens and he pulls me closer, now he has two arms wrapped around me and is hugging me to his body. "No," he murmurs sleepily.

I elbow him in the ribs and he groans. "Yes," I insist from my position facing away from him.

"No, later."

"There are people watching us," I whisper and cast an eye out in the direction on the truck that now has some of Mason's step brothers getting out.

"Really?"

"Look."

He lets go of me and I roll away and relax once again on the soft grass. I hear Mason sit up, "shit, it's Max and Sam."

I ignore him and close my eyes again, I hear Mason stand up and walk over to the vehicle. I hear raised voices but I honestly couldn't care less right now, I just want to listen to the wind and the birds. Then the ground vanishes from under me, my eyes snap open and I come face to face with Sam. I groan.

"I love that I have that effect on you," he whispers huskily into my ear.

I roll my eyes, "did you not see how peaceful I looked?"

"What I saw was you spooning with Mason, now what's that all about?" He asks as he throws me over his shoulder. I don't answer so Sam continues, "I can see why they like you."

"Lots of people like me," I say nonchalantly.

He laughs, "not like they want to rip the pants off you and fuck the living daylights out of you."

I smirk, "you'd be surprised."

"You're not very modest are you," he says it like a statement but I answer it anyway.

"Well, I just say it how it is," I say seriously.

"Yeah I gathered that." I don't reply as we near the Land Rover and I see Mason and Max loading on Mason's dirtbike, the yellow one I used was already on the back. "We found the dirtbike you were using and the two helmets you left behind. Thought you got eaten by ducks."

I laugh, "yeah, actually that's exactly what nearly happened. Oh and that reminds me." I trail of as I plunge my hand down my top to retrieve the plastic from earlier. Sam is looking at me with wide eyes and I smirk at his confused expression. Pulling out the rubbish I hand it to him, "I don't litter." Then I slide from Sam's grip and walk over to the Land Rover and jump into the back and lean my head against the window.

**************

This time I walk into the house fully clothed, I still find it hard to believe a house full of boys didn't notice a practically naked girl in their presence.

Me and the others walk towards the very clean, white couch that me and Mason are no doubt going to ruin. Surely we're not going to sit down. Max and Sam have already reached it and Mason is about to sit when Jane comes running in from the hallway. She has a towel in her hand and uses it to whip Mason.

"What was that for?" Mason demands looking at his mum.

"You were about to ruin my beautiful WHITE couch!" Jane all but shouted.
