Chapter Thirty

Josh swiftly drew me towards him for his lips to move rhythmically against mine. My fingers entwining in his tight, brown curls, gently pulling and tugging like they were the strings of a guitar to the melody of our very own song. When he finally drew away I captured his bottom lip between my teeth to gently give it a slight tug before releasing it almost reluctantly.

His satisfied smirk caused me to smile faintly. I leaned down and swung my bag over my shoulder as I opened the door of his black Audi and stepped out. I turned around to catch him watching my ass, I rolled my eyes, guys.

"I'll see you later tonight, love." He promised.

I nodded and looked around the school entrance where we were parked. I could feel my peers piercing eyes on us and our every movement. I pulled the sleeves of one of Josh's hoodies that he had insisted that I wear, over my hands. I turned my attention back towards Josh and smiled, "yeah sure, I'll see you then."

I gently shut the precious car's door and turned around after sending Josh a wave before walking into school. When I heard his car finally drive away I fished around in my pocket for my phone. I grinned as I turned it on, at last I have it back. Although I couldn't say I missed it, it was a relief to have it back in my hands.

I nearly shrieked in surprise when my phone started ringing and I quickly swiped to accept the call.

"Did you just step out of an Audi?" Crystal's excited voice screamed in my ear.

I grimaced at the loud voice and quickly drew my phone away from my ear. I turned around and sure enough Crystal was speed walking towards me in such a fast pace she could be an athlete. However she kept her composer as she closed the gap between us and I almost thought she wouldn't act crazy, almost.

However I thought too soon as she grasp my hand and pulled me off into a more secluded area of school, where there weren't so many stares.

When we finally slowed to a stop she unleashed herself. "Who was that? Wait was that Josh? Oh my lord he's so rich and mighty good looking. Wait do you still have the hickies?" Without waiting for a response she quickly parted my hair that I had left out to cover exactly what she what she looking for. I stayed at Josh's last night and he, Austin nor Sunny had any concealer.

I winced as she poked the one that I had received last night. "This one looks fresh," she declared as she scrunched her eyes together.

I laughed, "yeah, that's because it is."

She gasps, "so that was the informas Josh." I nodded as she continued with an, "oh my!" All I could do is nod numbly as she continued. "Literary everyone was looking at you guys as you pulled up and then he kissed you. How did he even afford a car like that anyway?"

I grimace, "trust me you don't want to know." Her eyes widen slightly and she stays silent for a few moments so I decide to get the conversation going again. "So did Shane tell you guys anything about the weekend?" I ask cautiously.

She bites the bottom of her lip as she thinks, "no I don't think he did, why? Did something happen between you two?"

I shake my head and I rush to think of a partial truth, "no he just gave me a ride home from a party on Saturday is all."

She nods slowly and throws me a cherry smile, "a party huh? How come I wasn't invited?"

I give her a regretful smile, "sorry but I didn't really know it was happening until Saturday afternoon but it would have been awkward if I invited you cause it was at Max and Mason's place."

She giggles, "yeah that may have been a tad awkward."
