"Did you track it?" She asked her husband. She bent down to look at the computer with him. A green dot blinked as it moved on the screen.
"Yes. It's heading north, no doubt looking for a someone to give it's power to," the husband replied. He rolled his head around, stretching it. Then he began inspecting his shotgun.
"Are you planning to kill it when you find it?" Her voice was hesitant and quiet.
"What other choice do we have? We vowed for revenge, Rowena, revenge for our fallen daughter!"
"I remember, James! But we aren't just killing the ones who killed our daughter! We are killing teenagers! Innocent ones! Since when did we become murderers?"
"It isn't our fault that the killers chose teenagers to pass the power on to! And we aren't just doing this for revenge, we are heroes, Rowena! If we kill all the Bitten, then we can save the world! This is one of the few panthers left that we have to kill!" He grabbed her hands just to emphasize his point.
"What if it already passed it on?"
"Then we kill whoever it had passed on to. Simple. We kill the panther and the person."
"Are you sure? Some may fight back." She reasoned. "And besides, why panthers? It was Ria's favorite animal!"
"We kill one species of animals at one time. It's our way."
"I don't feel like this is right."
"This is for our daughter, remember?! Our beloved Ria! We do it for her! We don't care how long it takes our how much we'll be considered bad, we kill them! We kill them all!" He vowed as he slammed a bullet into the gun with a determined face.
