Chapter 41 - Deep sh*t✔

"Why did you do this?" I got a bad whiff of Officer Marshalls breath in my face and scrunched my nose in disgust.

I'm at the police station, currently getting asked multiple questions and I just want someone to come to my rescue and whisk me off to Mars or to the Moon.

Obviously with Jenni.

I rolled my eyes at what Officer Marshall asked me and crossed my arms over my chest "Oh you know.. That's none of your damn business," I spat in his face.

"You think you're funny?" He asked me angrily and I chuckled.

"I think I'm adorable," I pouted.

I realized I shouldn't have said that when Officer Marshall banged his hand on the table and I jumped in shock, feeling my heart race.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" He asked me in a pissed tone.

Before I could answer him, he spoke up again "Actually don't answer that question. I've had enough of your cockiness. If that was my daughter you banged I would've cut you into little pieces. I'm surprised her dad hasn't come here to beat the crap out of you yet!" He argued and spat a few times in my face.

"Probably because her dad might actually accept us," I said with a cute little smile and Officer Marshall mumbled something under his breath and turned around, looking over at a young man in a suit standing by the door.

"Who are you?" Officer Marshall asked calmly.

He took a few steps forward and took out his hand so Officer Marshall could shake it, but instead Officer Marshall just stared at his hand like it was shit.

"Im Ethan's lawyer," He said, lowering his hand down awkwardly "And I would like to have a moment with my client if you don't mind," He said with a smile.

Officer Marshall turned his head and stared at me. I gave him a cocky smile and blew him a kiss and Officer Marshall rolled his eyes "He's all yours!" He shouted before shutting the door shut.

"Hey man! How have you been?" Andy, my lawyer, whisper shouted while patting his hand on my shoulder.

Me and Andy have been friends since we were kids. He's only four years older than me, but I sometimes feel older than him. He acts so childish sometimes.

"Oh you know.. Going to jail for having an intimate relationship with my student who is also pregnant. Usual everyday stuff," I said sarcastically and Andy's smile faded.

I hope he just realized he asked a dumbass question, but him being Andy, he shook it off like always.

"You're in deep shit man," He said while taking a seat in front of me.

I looked away from his sad face and let my serious self settle inside me "I know Andy, I know. How come my mom isn't here yet? I'm expecting a beating from her any minute now," I said and slowly watched his eyes widen.

"Your mom.. Well for starters, she's pissed off. Never have I ever seen her this angry. She should be here soon so I suggest you get ready," Andy warned me in a scared tone.

Andy has anxiety and always stresses about little things. I don't blame him.

I started to rub my temples by the thought of my mother.

You can never win a fight with that lady.

Then the door banged open and Andy jumped in shock. My heart felt like it exploded in my chest in fear. My mother's expression will forever haunt me till the day I die.

"Andy, can I talk to my son for a moment please?" She tried to speak calmly and Andy, without a word, grabbed his briefcase and scurried out of the room in a rush.

When he was gone, I watched my mom slam that door shut. I am going to die in this very seat.

I watched her glare at me disapprovingly.

"You disgusting bastard," She yelled, "I cant believe you! Being in a relationship with your student! She was underage Ethan! You brought shame to this family, more than your father ever did!" She yelled even louder.

I am nothing like him so you don't have the right to compare us in such different topics!

"I AM NOTHING LIKE HIM!" I screamed and she just stared at me with a blank face.

After taking a few minutes to catch my breath, I spoke up "Mom, you know Jenni. She's amazing and you know because you told me that yourself! How did you expect me to not fall in love with her? I felt like the luckiest man on Earth when I was with her," I said with tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Why didn't you wait till she graduated?" She asked me calmly.

I took a deep breath "I couldn't wait mom. I love her and I couldn't hold it back,"

The day I realized I had feelings for Jenni was the day my soul turned into a cage of love.

"It wasn't supposed to end this way," I muttered under my breath.

I heard the door open and close and I stared at Andy "On Wednesday you'll be in Court. Ms. Irvine will also be there but-" I stopped him.

"Do you have a piece of paper and a biro please?" I asked him, trying to calm myself down with excitement.

Andy gave me a weird look and placed his briefcase on the table and unzipped it, taking out the things I had just asked for.

He handed them to me when I stared at him " Are you serious Andy?" I told him while showing him my hands in the handcuffs.

Andy just laughed and stared at me "What do I write?"

I stared at my mom then Andy and smiled "Jenni, I'm sorry for what I have caused. This was never supposed to happen. Please.. Every appointment you take, just write me a letter and tell me how it went. I love you and our little one in your tummy. You're the best woman in the world and I feel so lucky to be able to love you," I said and I watched Andy finish writing.

"I'll go over to hers and give it to her this evening," Andy told me and I thanked him.

I watched my mom walk over to me and she wrapped her arms around me and kissed my temple "I love you," She whispered and I smiled.

"I love you too Mama," And I heard her chuckle lightly.

My mistakes. I have to deal with the consequences. At least my mom didn't murder me.
