Chapter 39 - Let go of her✔

Why now? Why did this have to happen now? Why couldn't it have happened later on? Why does my life feel like its hanging on a thread?

Why.

I stared at Ethan who was staring at the ceiling. Then to one of the officers who was cuffing Ethan and to the other one near the door.

Everyone watched them walk away and when they were out from class, the whole class jumped from their seats and ran out from class to watch.

Every single person from this school was formed in a circle around the principal, Ethan and the two officers.

I heard a load of 'oh my god', 'what the hell is happening' and I even heard 'I wonder who the slut is'

Which killed me inside.

Then the fat oaf opened his mouth "This man is a true disrespect to this school. For having an intimate relationship with a student is disgusting and shameful. You should be disappointed in yourself Gates. We have all the proof by hacking his phone. Such disgusting messages, very personal photos, photos they took together in a loved up way which is disgusting to see and-" Before the stupid bastard could continue, one of the officers stopped him.

"Who hacked Mr. Gates phone Sir? Because hacking is a felony and will have to pay for his or her actions," He said and the principal looked like he shit his pants in fear.

"It was Gary Smith officer," He ratted him out in seconds and I stared at the dick smirking then I stared at Ethan who was clenching his jaw in anger and I just saw his eyes flash in anger, in desperation.

He's desperate to wrap his hands around Gary's neck.

"Officers, mates.. just tell my dad, the chief, and I'll pay," Gary told them and the officers nodded.

This bastard thinks he's royalty?

I stared back at the officers who were about to continue walking when I watched the one who was with Ethan pull his arm roughly and Ethan squeezed his eyes shut.

I watched a tear roll down his cheek.

In seconds I went running to Ethan to protect him and heard everyone gasp "Stop it! Stop hurting him! He did nothing wrong!" But before I got any close, someone wrapped their arms tightly around my stomach and pulled me away. There was too much pressure on my stomach and I let out a stiffled cry.

"LET GO!" I cried in pain.

"STOP! LET GO OF HER! DON'T YOU SEE THAT YOU'RE HURTING THEM?" Ethan yelled and I cried harder by the sound of his sad voice.

Silence took over around us and I started to cry when I realized what he just said.

"Gates! How about you tell everyone how you got Jenni pregnant! I bet you raped her just so you could become a father," Gary yelled, making everyone gasp and that's when I realized.

He was the one with his arms around me, hurting and pushing on my stomach on purpose.

"Gary.." Ethan growled and I stared at everyone who let Gary hold me this way "If you don't let go, I will snap your neck when I'm out of these handcuffs. And I will enjoy it. Every damn minute. I have stuff against you. Remember that time you raped her huh? Or are you too brainwashed to remember?!" He yelled and I cried by the memory of Gary raping me.

The way his hands were around me, touching me in painful ways, heartbreaking ways.

But then I watched Ethan be taken away and my heart shattered "Jenni!" He yelled. Before I could call for him, he was gone.

Everyone turned their eyes to me and Gary threw me to the ground, my face hitting the ground.

"Leave Jenni alone you fucker. You're unwanted.  Just cause you lost your heart doesnt mean you should go off breaking others," I heard Fred yell and the cornor of my lips tugged when I realized he was sticking up for me.

"Jenni!" I heard Shanaia yell and she came running towards me, helping me stand up and I stared at Fred who still had his hoodie over his head and Gary who was clenching his fists.

Then Fred punched Gary straight in his nose and I heard a loud crack. Fred used to go to boxing classes so that must've hurt. Gary was holding his bleeding nose and he was about to hit Fred when Fred grabbed his hand and twisted it, while keeping eye contact intact.

He kept a straight face while Gary was screaming in pain.

"ENOUGH! FRED, GARY DETENTION AFTER SCHOOL, EVERYONE BACK TO CLASS AND JENNI TO MY OFFICE NOW!" The oaf yelled and everyone ran away from him and I followed him.

This was the first time I was ever scared to be near him.

"What you have done is disgusting, disrespectful, shameful, disappointing and embarrassing! Ms. Irvine, I have never expected this type of behaviour from you! Ever! You should be ashamed of youself! Jenni.. YOU ARE EXPELLED!" He said in a unusual calm tone then went full on rage and I jumped from my seat in shock.

"Sir I'm sorry really. But I dont think you'd know what love was even if it slapped you in the face! You can't stop it and you-" But he stopped me.

"Shut up and leave my office. Your mother is on her way so I suggest you stay in the waiting area for her," He argued and I got up angrily and left, banging the door shut and sitting down to wait for a very angry mother.

I feel so bad for Jenni.

To see the love of her life be taken away is depressing. I hope everything will turn out ok.

"Ow!" Fred yelled and I dabbed more surgical spirit on his knuckles. He managed to cut himself while punching Gary. But the joy I felt inside when I saw that bastard in pain.

I bet Mr. Gates wants to murder him for putting Jenni in pain once again.

"I can't believe Jenni right now! She has turned into someone I never wanted to know. Keeping harsh secrets like that, I hate how she has become!" Zoey yelled out of the blue, shocking me and Fred.

I rolled my eyes and Fred took a deep breath "What if you were pregnant Zo? Would you feel confident to tell someone that you were pregnant at the age of seventeen? Wouldn't you be horrified?" Fred told her, maybe putting some thought into her thick skull.

"I would tell my best friend that's for sure," She said and I started to bandage up Fred's hand.

His hands.. They are so soft. I managed to see tattoos around his wrist. The reason he's wearing his hoodie over his head is because his mom started to cut his hair and shaved off a little too much hair.

To be honest, he looks way hotter with his hoodie on. He looks like a bad boy, and well everybody loves a bad boy.

"Jenni has changed. She has turned into a bitch and I was just in the cafeteria and everyone was calling her a slut which to be honest, she is. Did you see the private photo she sent Mr. Gates? Gary sent it to most of the school and he sent it to me. Basically its her biting her lip while showing off her boob. Like what the fuck," Jason yelled and I watched Fred who had an amused expression on his face.

"Damn Jenni," He said with a smirk while staring at me.

I slowly packed my stuff up and helped Fred up "I'm sick of listening to the two of you bickering about Jenni. She is your friend but instead you are just talking behind her back! Go do us a favour and fuck yourselfs," I argued and intertwined my hand with Fred's and walked out from the library.

Jenni doesn't deserve any of this.
