CHAPTER 1

Xyleen's POV

"Anak? Xyleen! You need to wake up!" Mommy said with matching kalampag sa door.

Actually kanina pa ako gising e. Mga 4:00 am pa. Tsh. I'm currently sitting infront of my laptop, researching. Ang ingay lang talaga ni Mommy sa labas. Kaya naiinis ako e. -_-

"Yaya! Get the keys." Mom said. Tss. I'm not scared. Actually, I don't mind kung may plano syang wasakin 'tong pinto. It's my room naman kasi. And I don't care. It's our house.

I heard na nagbukas na yung pinto. I rolled my eyes. Err, I'm used to it. For sure, sesermunan na naman ako ni Mommy.

"There you are! I thought you're still asleep? Argh! Pinaghintay moko. And look at you.. aren't you ready?" She said.

I look at her and frowned. "Ready for what?" Sabi ko. E, sa hindi ko talaga alam e. Pasensya naman na sa kakulitan kong taglay. Only daughter kasi kaya medyo spoiled ako sa kanila ni Daddy.

"We're going to fetch your Dad. He's with your cousins from states. So, better get ready na, Xyleen. Wag na matigas ang ulo mo kasi you will surely love them." Medyo excited na sabi ni Mommy. I just rolled my eyes.

"As if I have a choice." I murmured pero mukhang 'di yun nakaligtas sa pandinig ni Mommy kaya lumingon sya sakin.

"What are you saying, Xyleen?"

"Nothing, Mom. I said, I'll get myself prepared." Then I told her to get out kasi sya daw mag-aayos sakin.

Duuh!? Ang laki laki ko na kaya. Nakakahiya naman kung hanggang ngayon, sya pa din mag-aasikaso sa akin.

It's 7:30am. So, ayun. Naligo, nag-toothbrush, at nagbihis na ako. I'm wearing a long sleeve na jacket, black maong shorts at tsaka black rubber shoes na converse. Simple lang ako manamit kahit mayaman kami. I'm still down to earth kahit na super dami nang blessings galing sa Kanya. I still thank Him.

I get my phone above the table. Tsh. 100 messages? Kanino naman kaya galing ang mga 'to?

"Xyleen, let's go!" Sigaw ni Mommy. Mamaya na ako magbabasa. For sure, yung iba dyan galing kay Sir Eric.

Agad akong napangiti sa nabasa ko. Syempre, 'di pwedeng 'di ako mag-reply sa short yet sweet message nya. Tse! Oo na. Ako na malandi. Eh sa kinikilig ako e! Yiiee.

Goodmorning din, Onyx ko. I'm done with breakfast. Ikaw din, ingat ka. Loveyoutoo :)

"Xyleen, si Onyx ba 'yan?" Tanong sakin ni Mommy. Legal kami sa parents namin kaya there's no need to worry about. Nginitian ko lang si Mommy. "Let him come with us."

I smiled wider. "Sige po, Mommy."

Punta kang NAIA, Onyx. Follow us. Oopss. Bawal tumanggi kasi si Mommy ang nagsabi :P i'll wait for you. Bye!

Tsaka ko pinasok sa loob ng bag yung cellphone ko. "Mom, tulog muna ako." I said then close my eyes. Di naman na sya nagsalita kaya I'll take that as a yes.

Let me introduce myself to you.

I'm Renaissance "Xyleen" Dominguez, daughter of Jade and Dominic Dominguez. 16 years old and 4th year high school na. They say I'm beautiful, sexy, rich, intelligent, and famous. Ugh! Yeah.

I'm a model. Kadalasan, simple lang ako. Ayoko namang magmukhang Queen of the World kaya sinisimplehan ko lang talaga. But when I put make up on, talo ko pa si Pia Wurtzbach. Hahaha.

Xyleen ang tawag nila sakin. Kasi screen name ko 'yan. And I have no idea kung bakit Xyleen ang napili kong screen name. Sabi nga ni Mommy, no need for screen names daw kasi maganda naman yung pangalan ko. I agree with that. Kaso, masyadong mahaba ang Renaissance at nakakatamad banggitin kaya nung pinaisip nila ako ng screen name, Xyleen agad ang sinabi ko. I found it simple but unique.

"Baby, we're here. Wake up na." Mommy said bago sya lumabas ng kotse. Lumabas na rin ako. All eyes are on me, so I put my shades on to hide my hazel brown eyes.

"Si Kyleen ba yan?"
"Tanga! Xyleen, hindi Kyleen."
"OMG! Ang ganda nya pala sa personal!"
"Yeah. Like a goddess."

"It's okay, Xyleen. I know you hate compliments but please, bear with it." Natatawang sabi ni Mommy.

"Okay, Mom. Kung bakit ba naman kasi ganito ako kaganda?" Binatukan ako ni Mommy Jade kasi umiral na naman ang kapilyahan ko.

"Xyleen! Jade! Over here!" Sigaw nung isang lalaking tatay ko pala. Hehehe.

"I miss you, Nic." Sabi ni Mommy saka nya niyakap si Daddy.

"I miss my wife, too. Kamusta ka na Jade?" Dad asked Mom. Oh, great. Di nila ako nakikita dito.

"I'm fine, Nic. Namiss ka namin ng sobra." Mom said saka yumakap ulit kay Daddy. Chansing lang 'to si Mom kay Dad e.

"Oo nga pala, Jade. Where's our baby?" Tanong ni Daddy kay Mommy.

"Akala ko magyayakapan na lang kayo maghapon e. Baka nakakalimutan nyong may anak kayo? I'm here Daddy, hello!? Feel my presence?" Medyo sarcastic kong sabi kaya natawa sila ni Mommy.

"There you are, Baby Xyleen. I miss you." He said then hug me.

"Ugh, Dad. Not a baby anymore." Medyo iritable kong sabi sa kanya. Since maliit pa ako, baby na tawag nyan sakin. Tanggap ko pa kung 5 years old palang ako, e kaso, 16 na ako and still, Baby parin niya ako. Nakakahiya lang sa mga makakarinig.

"You're still my baby." Dad said. I glared at him. "Kidding aside. Syempre, dalaga ka na. I can see your pictures and no doubt you're our daughter *winks* diba nga may boyfriend ka na?"

"Speaking of that guy, where is he?" Mom asked then look at me. "Did you tell him to come here?"

"Yes Mom. Wait, I'll call him. Excuse me." I said then dialled his number.

"Hello?"

[Hello, Xyleen? What is it? Namiss mo agad ako, magkatext lang tayo kanina ah.] He said then chuckled kaya napangiti ako. Siraulo talaga 'tong boyfriend ko.

"That's not it, Onyx. Hinahanap ka nila Mommy at Daddy. Are you still coming?"

[I'm afraid I can't make it today. May shooting pa kami e. Baka magalit na naman 'tong si Direk kapag tinakasan ko na naman sya. Alam mo naman 'to diba? I'll pay you a visit tomorrow, okay? Don't be sad.]

"Okay. I'll wait for you."

[Sure. I'll surely come for you.]

Napangiti naman ako sa sinabi niya. "Okay. Bye Onyx. Take care."

[Okay. Ikaw rin. Ingat ka. Tanga ka pa naman din minsan. *laughs* kidding. Bye, Xyleen. Iloveyou.]

"Iloveyoutoo, Onyx." Then I hang up. Bumalik na ako kila Daddy.

"Hi there. I'm back." I told them.

"Oh, what did he say?" Mom asked.

"He can't make it. May shooting pa po sya." I said.

"Ganun ba? It's okay. There's still tomorrow and tomorrow can wait, right?" Daddy said. He gave me a warm smile. I admit. I miss those. I miss him so much.

"Yes, Daddy."

"Osha, puntahan na natin yung mga pinsan mo. I'll introduce you to them." Dad said.

Somehow, I feel nervous. First time ko sila makikita at kinakabahan ako sa first impression nila sakin. Oh well. I just have to be myself. Don't need to pretend.

"Okay Dad. Can't wait."
