Chapter 3

Chapter 3: Kia's POV

Me and Jc were in our room cleaning up the room, unpacking, and talking about the baby.

"So we're having a boy. What about names?" Jc asked as I helped him unpack his bags.

"Good question. I have no idea." I said putting some of his shirts back in the closet. He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, placing his hands on my stomach.

"Let's take a break? We can cuddle and look up some names?" I smiled at him and turned around in his arms.

"Sounds perfect."

He smiled and gently kisses my forehead. Then picked me up and carried me to the bed. I laid down and cuddled against him, pulling out my phone to look up baby names.

"Blake?" I looked up at Jc waiting for a reaction. He made a face and shook his head.

"Yyeahhhh, no."

"Alright..." I scrolled through more names until I found another I like. "Ooh what about Jayden?"

"I like that." He said as he nodded in approval. I smiled, but kept looking.

"What about J-"

I was cut off by Kian yelling and then the slamming of doors.

"I'm saying this baby isn't fucking mine!" Their bedroom door slammed shut, and then the front door downstairs.

I looked up at Jc worried. Baby? What baby? Mine? Because Kian is sure as hell not the father of my baby. Who else is pregnant? My eyes widened, and I looked into Jc's eyes. Worry was spread all over his face. Without another word we both got up to help our friends. Jc ran downstairs after Kian, and I made my way down the hall to Hailey's room.

After I went into Hailey's room she told me everything that happened including the fact that she's pregnant. I was so happy for her, but then I remembered that Kian didn't even believe that this was his baby.

"Hailey, how can you let him say that? You and me both know that this is his baby!"

Hailey was in tears laying on the bed. I hugging her and rubbing her back trying to comfort her.

"See, but....do you remember that day right after the boys left? I asked you if you wanted to come with me and a friend of mine from school to a party. Well, I got drunk that night...I don't remember much of that might."

I didn't know what to say to this. Deep down I had this feeling that this baby was Kian's. I don't see Hailey ever cheating on him with anyone.

"Text your friend and asked her what happened that night. You need to talk to her and then talk to Kian, but first I need you to stop crying...its not good for the baby."

Hailey nodded, then turned around to hug me. When she did the baby kicked. Hailey looked down at my stomach and smiled.

"Aweh! He just kicked! That's so cute!" Hailey smiled wider and put her hand on my stomach where he kicked last. I giggled softly and watched her.

"You know, soon you'll be laying here in bed or on the couch and your baby is gonna start kicking."

Hailey froze for a second. Then smiled again. I could tell she was excited about this baby, and she already loved him/her. I just hoped Kian would come around and be there for her.

Hailey told me she was gonna take a shower and lay down, so I went back to my room to wait for Jc. That's when it hit me. The perfect name for our baby. I quickly pulled out my phone and texted Jc.

Princesa (Princesa is Kia's name in Jc's phone): what about Jayce?

Daddy Caylen: that's perfect! Tell Jayce daddy will be home in 5 minutes with a treat.

I smiled out my phone then locked it, and put it away. Laying down I rubbed my stomach a little, and began talking to the baby.

"Jayce..." I smiled. "Mommy and daddy can't wait to see you." Softly I sang to Jayce, and in the process of waiting for Jc to get home I fell asleep.
