Chapter 6: Kia's POV

"WHAT!?" I heard Hailey say right before I hung up. My scream woke Jc up, and he immediately asked if I was okay.

The pain I was in right now was ridiculous, and I wasn't able to get a word out. I simply shook my head. Jc placed his hand on my belly over mine.

"Princess what's wrong" and that's when he noticed the wet mark on my pants.

"B-baby" I tried saying, but he seemed to understand what I was getting at because he simply picked me up and carried me to the car.

The only thing I could think of was the pain. It would come and go just minutes apart. I knew these were the contractions, but still everytime I made the slightest of indication that I was in pain I saw Jc get a little more worried.

After we got to the hospital we were seen right away. Jc had carried me inside, where I was put into a wheelchair, and wheeled into a room. The nurse closed the door behind her right after Jc came in. Jc came up and held my hand as I squeezed it in pain. I felt tears rolling down my cheeks, and Jc tried to wipe them.

The nurses took off my sweatpants I had been wearing, my shirt, underwear, and bra, before slipping on the hospital gown.

Seconds later the doctor came in.

"Ma'am I'm afraid you're too far along for the epidural, and you're gonna need to start pushing."

Great, this was gonna hurt....a lot.

An hour later I woke up to the sound of crying. I guess I must've fallen asleep after I fed Jayce. I began to pull back the blanket that was over me, so I could get the baby. Jc was faster though, and he already held Jayce in his arms walking over to me.

I couldn't help but smile. This was absolutely perfect. Jc was going to be such an amazing father. Jayce was born at 4:30 AM on Saturday morning. 2-24-2016. He was 7 pounds 5 ounces, he had a head full of hair, and brown eyes just like his father.

Jc handed my the baby carefully. I took him and began to feed him.

"Congratulations, you're a mommy." Jc said sitting next to me on the edge of the bed. I smiled at him, and laid my head back against the pillow.

"Thank you babe, and you too, you're a father now." He smiled wider and leaned down to kiss my head, then kissing Jayce's.

I felt myself beginning to tear up. Our baby was finally here, we were finally parents. I couldn't wait for the rest of my life with my two boys.
