Chapter 22

*4 months later*

These past four months have been pretty great. Nothing bad has happened, Kia and Jc are currently in Disney with Jayce and their parents, Kian and I have went to visit his parents again, I still haven't made another attempt to talk to my mom, and I'm now 8 and half months pregnant. In the past four months Kian and I have almost completely planed out wedding. We want to wait until after to baby to have to wedding so she can be apart of it somehow.

Honestly though without Kia and Jc here it's been kinda nice, but I still miss them a lot. Now it's just me and Kian, and it's given us a lot of time to spend with each other.

We were currently laying on the couch watching his movie, The Chosen, again for the 7th time. It was one of my favorite movies, mostly because he was in it. We were halfway through the movie when I started to feel a large amount of pain. I tried my best to curl in a ball and hold my stomach. Kian paused the movie and pulled me onto his lap.

"Baby are you okay?"

I had tears now flowing down my cheeks, and it suddenly felt like I had peed on myself. My eyes went wide as I realized that my water just broke. I tried my best to let Kian know, and ignore the pain.

"M-my....w-water-"

"Shit. Okay, come on we gotta go."

Kian carried me out the door and into the car. He put me in the back seat so I could lay down if needed.

It took us 20 minutes to get to the hospital, and by that time I was a crying mess. I'm pretty sure I told Kian I hated him for doing this to me a couple of times. Hopefully he knew I didn't really mean it, and that it was just the pain talking. He carried me inside and put me in a wheelchair. The nurse took us the our room and helped Kian put me on the bed.

4 hours later I was finally holding my beautiful baby girl Ariana. Ariana Lawley. She had dark hair and the same colored eyes as me, hazle, but other than that she looked like Kian in my opinion. No matter what she looked absolutely perfect.

Kian smiled and sat on the edge of the hospital bed. He wrapped an arm around me then leaned in kissing the top of my head and Ari's.

"Do you want to hold her?" Kian nodded in response and carefully took her from me. The sight of him holding his daughter was so cute. It actually brought tears to my eyes. I couldn't help it any longer, I reached for my phone and took of picture of Kian holding Ari with a huge smile on his face as he looked down at her.

I thought as I changed it. I was being a typical mom right now, and I knew it. Putting my phone away I watched Kian play with Ari as I fell asleep.

Kian's POV

I took Ariana from Hailey and looked down at her. She was so perfect. A tiny little Hailey she had her hair and her eyes, but she did have my nose. I felt tears begin to fill my eyes as I watched her fall asleep. Absentmindedly, I began to play with her little toes and then her fingers. She ended up holding onto my hand which made my smile grow larger.

"Babe look she's holding my finger." I said softly to Hailey, but there was no answer. I looked up at her and found her asleep in the bed. I kissed her head gently before laying Ari in the little crib the nurse brought into the room.

I had to tell Jc and Kia Ari was finally here. I was finally a father!

God that feels amazing to say.

I pulled out my phone and texted Jc.

Kian:
Dude, guess what!

Jc:
What is it??

Kian:
Ariana is here! She's so fucking perfect! 7lbs. 8oz.

Jc:
Congrats! Kia just screamed 😂 we can't wait to see her.

I smiled at my phone and put it away when I heard Ari crying. Quickly I got up and took care of her so Hailey could sleep. Luckily Hailey decided not to breast feed her.

I sat down on the chair and feed Ari. Every so often I'd lean down and kiss her head gently.

"I promise, I'll always be here to protect you and take care of you."
