Chapter 21

Chapter 21:

"Hello?" I heard my mother ask. I stood there with nothing to say. I just listened as my mother asked who was there.

This was such a mistake. Why are you so stupid?

I asked myself as I continued to sit on the end of the phone. I don't know why I didn't say anything, after all, she is my mother. I took a deep breath and opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. It was as if I had no voice whatsoever. Instead I fought back tears as I hung up the phone.

I missed my family more than anything right now, and I had no idea why I couldn't talk to her. Maybe it was because of everything that has happened these past couple of days with McKenna.

I fought back the tears as I made my way to the kitchen to get breakfast. Honestly, I couldn't wait until this pregnancy was over, I was crying way too much for my liking.

Being home alone had me pretty damn bored. I've only been awake for maybe two and a half hours now, and I already ate breakfast, cleaned mine and Kian's room, cleaned up in the kitchen, vacuumed every rug in the house except for in Jc and Kia's room, and I did the wash.

Finally deciding on watching a movie, I went in the kitchen to make some popcorn. While it popped I put in the Notebook. I've seen this movie about 6 times now, and I've cried every time.

I was almost done with the movie when the door flew open and Jc walked in the house, holding Kia in his arms as they kissed. They didn't even pull apart when I said hi, they ignored me and went straight upstairs.

Those two are ridiculous and can't keep their hands to themselves.

I said to myself slightly amused as I tried finishing the movie. Only to be interrupted again about a minute later when Kian came inside. He smiled when he saw me, and took a seat on the couch next to me.

"What are you watching?" Kian asked studying the screen.

"The Notebook. Were you with Kia and Jc?"

Kian's eyes widened and he nodded. "We went to take Jayce to see Kia's mom. Oh and for the record, Yes."

I looked at him confused as hell. He seemed to have picked up my confusion because he laughed, wrapped his arm around me, and continued.

"Those two were like that the whole way home. Once we dropped off Jayce, Kia and Jc were in the back seat. Let me say I was praying they would keep their clothes on."

We both broke out into laughter, and when we finally calmed down we cuddled together on the couch where we watched the rest of the movie.

Sometime during the movie I ended up falling asleep because I woke up in my bed later that day. Before getting up I looked around for Kian, but he wasn't in the room.

"Kian!" I called. Hopefully he was somewhere near by because I had no intentions of getting out of bed. When he didn't answer I started to yell his name again, but was interrupted by someone screaming outside.

I quickly got out of bed and stepped out onto the balcony that over looked the yard. There was Kian, Jc, and Kia all in the pool. Kian was the first to notice me.

"Babe, your up! Come join us."

I pouted to myself a little I wanted a day of cuddles and Netflix, but I guess there's a change of plans. I agreed and got my swimsuit on before making my way outside.

When I got out there I noticed Kian was gone. Before I could question it I felt a pair of arms slip around my waist and pick me up. Kian carried me to the pool and jumped in with me in his arms.

I came up coughing a little and glared at him.

"Kian! That was not okay! I wasn't even ready!"

Kian, Jc, and Kia were all laughing. As I stood there pouting. Kian swam over to me and pulled me into his arms. He hid his face against my neck and spoke softly against it.

"I'm sorry baby. I'll make it up to you I promise."

"You better," I said fighting back a smile.

We all spent another hour or so in the pool before we all decided to order pizza. When the pizza arrived we were all in our clothes we would be sleeping in tonight.

Kian, Jc, Kia, and I all spent the rest of night eating pizza and cuddling on the couch or floor watching Netflix movies. We were like a big happy family, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

AN//: I'm sorry this chapter sucks guys. I had really bad writer's block, and had no idea how to end this chapter. This was the best I got. I hope y'all still like it! Keep voting and letting me know what y'all think.
