Chapter 4: Hailey's POV

*A WEEK LATER*

It's been a week since I told Kian about the baby. I was honestly crushed when he told me that he didn't believe this was my baby, and after talking to my friends who went to the party with me I knew no one else could be the father. Kian was the only one I slept with, and after he came home that night I was going to explain that to him. Instead though, Kian had changed his mind. As if someone had already talked to him about it.

It didn't bother me though, I was just happy that Kian is now here for his family.

"Hi, Jayce."

I heard Jc say from the living room. I was on my way down the steps to go to the kitchen. Who's Jayce? I tipped toed down a few more steps so I could see Jc and Kia on the couch. Kia was laying down and Jc was laying his head on her belly, rubbing it. Jayce? That must be the name of their baby!

I was about to start to head down the rest of the steps when I felt a hand on my shoulder, and I screamed.

Kian laughed and held onto me so I wouldn't fall. Kia and Jc then noticed me standing there watching, and I felt my face get bright red.

"What are you two doing?" Kia laughed.

"Well, I was going to the kitchen, but then I heard Jc say 'hi Jayce' and I got curious."

"Jayce?" Kian said with a look of confusion. "Who's that?"

Jc shook his head and kissed Kia's belly before standing up.

"The name of our baby."

"Oohh" me and Kian said in unison.

I couldn't help but smile at them, they were just the cutest. I hope me and Kian will be just as amazing parents as them.

"So when do we find out what we're having?" Kian asked.

We were in the car on our way to his parent's house. Today we decided that we were going to go visit his family, and tell them the news. I've never been to his parent's house before, and to say I was nervous was an understatement.

I wanted today to be perfect. I wanted his family to like me, and I wanted to make a good impression. I changed my outfit this morning 7 times before chosing the one I originally had on, and I could tell Kian was a bit annoyed. I just couldn't help it.

"In about a month or so." I said looking out the window.

"Hailey, are you okay? You seem....off."

I just nodded and closed my eyes. We had a 4 hour drive before we would finally arrive. that's four hours of questioning myself, and four hours of practicing how to reply to them. Okay so maybe I was over reacting a bit. Bite me.

Kian reached over and grabbed my hand. Giving it a light squeeze.

"Don't lie, come on what's wrong?" He raised my hand up to his mouth kissing it.

I couldn't prevent the smile from forming on my face. He always knew how to get me to smile.

"I'm just scared," I told him honestly.

"Scared? Why?"

"I'm meeting your parents for the first time. It's scary. Plus ontop of that we have to tell them I'm pregnant. Its kind of hard to stay calm."

Kian nodded in agreement.

"Okay, true, but Hailey you're perfect. You're all I could ever ask for, and more. My parents are going to LOVE you, and us having a baby will just make them happier. I promise you, everything will be ok."

I smiled at him not knowing what to say. Of course I wasn't perfect, but it meant the world to me that he thought so. I nodded in agreement before leaning over to kiss his cheek.

Kian's words never left my thoughts throughout the rest of the car ride. I don't know how, but he got me to believe him. To believe that everything will be okay.

"I spy something yellow." Kian said breaking the silence. I laughed and looked over at him.

"Really? A four hour drive and this is what we're gonna do?"

He shrugged and flashed me a smile. I shook my head a little, but played along.

"That car?"

"Nope."

"The sun?"

"Wrong again."

"The lines on the road?"

"Yes! Congratulations!"

I laughed and searched for somehing.

"I spy something....Red."

And that's how we spent the next four hours.
