As you can see above, this is the cover I used for a Stallison AU story of mine called Chronicles of a Fallen Love and then the one next to it is a random one I made while making this tutorial.
Superimpose
i. Open up a white image as the background in Superimpose and your PNG as the foreground. Merge.
ii. Open a textured image of your choice as the foreground (I changed the hue and other coloring for mine). Move it to where it's over the person's clothes and put it on an overlay mode that looks best to you. For the first example above, I left it on normal, but for this one I put it on overlay. It just depends what you think looks best.
iii. Brush around unwanted areas under the mask tab. Make sure to not have the texture on the skin of the person; it makes it look cleaner. Merge this and save.
iv. Open a background image for your cover (like a beach or something else of your choice). There's some good textures of this on @ahpps on instagam as well as google in case you want to know where to get some good ones. Open the PNG image you saved before and place it on the cover as desired.
for pics art, you basically do the same thing as i stated above. Add the texture image on top of it, use an overlay mode, mask around it and then add it to a photo. If you have any questions just send me a quick comment!
Of course, you can add more people on a cover if you want. Then you just save, add the title, and you're done. I like how tumblr-y this looks, plus it's simple yet cute, so that's always a plus.
For the editing contest; if I haven't commented/voted on your edit, please let me know. I tried to get to everyone and if I didn't, i don't want to miss you. thanks!
can someone bring me some sweet tea and pizza please.
