Book Cover Tips

so here are the rules and junk, yay.

CONTEST

This contest will be based around edits you guys make. You can make any type of edit you want, whether that be digital edits, hand drawings, GIF's, youtube videos, or fanart, I'll take it all (suggestions at end of chapter). If you want to message me about an idea of yours to see if it works, feel free to do so.

I am telling you now, I am most likely to pick yours for the top 20 if it's something I like/relate to. If you need ideas, I literally am obsessed with anything Teen Wolf, Selena Gomez, Halsey, Twenty One Pilots, The Flash, Agents of SHIELD, The 100, and anything else you know about me. You will be judged on that factor, the eye appeal of the edit, the skill/time put into your edit, and symbolism.

RULES

1; PLEASE, no book covers. I want actual edits; not book covers with titles and such.

2; You are allowed to use any tutorial from this book and others of course (provide credit as well)

3; You are allowed to submit 3 entries.

4; Top 20 edits will be picked judged by the criteria above and then the rest will be decided upon everyone else.

5; Everyone is welcomed to join, so please do! It will be a lot of fun!

PRIZE

This time around, there will only be one winner. The first place winner will win three book covers made by me, an icon pack of their choice (9 icons), 10 votes on whichever story they please, and a follow from me. I hope that's enough (I think it is).

SUBMISSION FORMAT

When entering your edit(s), please post them in a part of a story of yours and tag me in it. Do NOT message me your entry, because it won't be accepted if you do so. It gets too confusing when I do both, so please, just tag me.

If I don't comment/vote on your entry in a 24 hour period, you can tag me again and/or message me privately. I most likely haven't seen it yet, so please do so. I want to see all of your edits!

DEADLINE

August 27th will be the cut off date, and then the top 20 will be chosen a couple of days after

OTHER

After I choose the top 20 (if not enough entries, I will only pick a certain few) I will post them here and the readers will vote for their favorite. This editing contest is based on you all; so get your friends gathered up to come vote if you make it to the final round!

So this contest is because of this book coming to an end and because of my soon to be 20k followers. I liked this idea of a contest, so we'll see how it goes. I want to see your guy's editing skills before it all comes to an end.

I also might do a Youtube video of the top 10 or 20 edits that I love. I figured I could talk about what I love/dislike about them and whatnot (not to be rude, but to help improve) and it could help you guys when deciding when voting comes around.
