this was requested by someone, but I can't remember by who. I love love love this cover style though; I might even think about changing mine to it tbh. I hope you guys like it as much as I do!

Superimpose

i. Open the template below as the background in Superimpose and your image you'd like to use as the foreground. Go to transform and set it on screen (so that it's in the black area) and before you merge the images, make sure to use the rectangle masking tool to erase some of the photo on the gray line part under it. Now merge.

 Now merge

ii. Save the image and open it in Phonto to add your title. Make it look similar to how I had done mine (the font is CODE Bold, but make sure to have the title on top and the author on bottom, leaving a little space between them). Save that image and then open it back in Superimpose as the background and a black image as the foreground. Use the rectangle masking tool again to erase some of the black image to make it have that black line like pictured below. Merge.

iii. Open the the below image as the foreground and put it on multiply under the transform tab. move it over your title area and turn the opacity down on it so that it's still easy for you to read your title. Merge that and then you're done!

Pics Art

i. Open the template above first and then go to "add image" and add your photo you'd like to use. Make sure to put it on screen in the drop down menu and move as desired. You'll have to use the eraser to erase the part that goes over into the gray part of the template as well.

ii. Save this and then open it in Phonto to add the title and everything. Look up above at the Superimpose tutorial if you don't understand this part. Open the saved image from Phonto back in Pics Art.

iii. Add a plain black image and then erase it to where you have the line left in between the title and author name. After this, open the swipe image above and put it on multiply. Move it to where it's over the title and turn the opacity down on it as well to make the title still visible. Save and you're done!

Seriously guys, this is really simple and really freaking cute. It's hard to find a simple/stylish cover theme now-a-days it seems, lmao.

I have another tutorial that I've gotten the screenshots for, but it's currently almost midnight here and I'm really too tired to type up that one now. I'll post it tomorrow though; how's that sound? Good? Mmk.

G'Night lovelies!
