During the day, Draco and Harry are having trouble keeping their eyes off each other.
Draco notices all little things about Harry he didn't already know, although he already knew quite a bit, he realizes. He must've studied the raven-haired Gryffindor more than he thought, maybe he always was attracted to Harry, but he had just covered it up with hatred.

People are starting to notice that Draco isn't as mean to Harry as before anymore, but everyone blames it on the war. They think the two heroes don't have time for stupid little fights anymore, and they don't suspect a thing of what is really going on between the two boys.

Harry doesn't have much time to stare at Draco, because he would give himself away. Hermione's gaze is fixated on him and he knows she will follow his gaze every time he looks at someone.
So, to lead her on, he looks at almost every student in class, each no longer than 15 seconds.

When classes finally end, Draco walks back to the dungeons, alone. Blaise had left earlier because of his 'illness' although Draco thinks he just used one of the Weasley's strange candies.
Pansy said she had to go to the library, which surprised Draco, since she never goes to the library.

After Draco muttered the password, he stepped into their small common room and went to Blaise's room.
'Blaise?' He asks while knocking on the door.

'Come in!' Blaise voice sounds loudly from inside, and Draco hears he isn't ill.
That thought is confirmed when he finds Blaise eating chocolate while playing chess.
He apparently enchanted the black pions to be able to move themselfs, because he's playing against no one, and he's losing.

'Professor, can I please go to the hospital wing? I feel awful.' Draco mocks and Blaise rolls his eyes.

'That lesson was awful! Seriously, does anyone, except you and the know-it-all, ever listen to Binn's lessons?' Blaise exclaims and Draco shrugs.

'We have a transfigurations essay due tomorrow.' Draco reminds Blaise for leaving the room. It isn't like Blaise is going to make his homework, but it is a habit of Draco to remind his friends about their homework.

Draco just say down on the couch next to the fire, when Pansy walks in, chatting loudly with someone.
She walks in with a girl by her side and Draco wolf-whistles.
It's a joke between the three of them, if Pansy brings a girl with her, Draco and Blaise will flirt with her. If Draco brings a boy with him, Pansy and Blaise will flirt with him, and the same goes for if Blaise bring a girl with him.
They're not serious, so it doesn't matter that Draco doesn't even like girls, or that Blaise is straight, it's tradition!

'Oi! Who's that gorgeous girl?' Draco says flirtatious and the girl blushes furiously.
Draco stands up and checks her out, unashamed.
She truly is beautiful-for a girl.
She has ashy blond curls, piercing blue eyes, and full lips.
Pansy usually plays along with Draco, pretending they get into a fight about the girl, but even Draco notices she is uncomfortable.

'Ignore him Louise, he's gay as fuck.' She says rudely and shoots Draco a glare.
Draco, taken aback by the crack in their tradition, grins sheepishly and walks back to the couch.

'Have fun!' He yells after Pansy and the girl- a Ravenclaw, Draco notices- and Pansy scowls.
