The loud sound of chatter in the great hall is audibly from outside, and a warm feeling spread in Harry's body. Hogwarts is his home, and he felt terrible when he was forced to leave it last year.
Sirius wasn't so happy when Harry told him he wanted to go to Hogwarts for his last year, Sirius wanted him to stay with him at Grimmaulds Place.

He quietly follows his friends to the Great Hall, admiring the renovated walls, Harry thought it was wonderful that McGonagall was able to renovate the destroyed school in less than a summer.

When Harry enters the Great Hall, more than a few students stop chatting to admire their 'hero.'
t's every year the same, and you would think that Harry was used to the stares by now, but he wasn't and he didn't think he could ever get used to the stares. The only positive point this year, was that Malfoy got them to, although the git would probably enjoy it.

Harry sits down and fills his plate with food, although he doesn't really have an appetite. He can't stop thinking about the last horcrux, did he notice something when he woke up from his 'dead' ?
he didn't think so, he couldn't see Voldemort when he woke up.

'Welcome to another year at Hogwarts, first, I'd like to say a few words. Please welcome our new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher mr.Parkinson!
The eight years who've come back get an own dormitery next to your houses' commonroom, now, enjoy your meals!'

'we can hear the girls now.' Seamus states smirking and he presses his ear to the wall.
'I'm claiming this bed!' ron yells and he jumps on the bed next to the bed Harry already claimed.
The bed is next to a window. Although it is not the same room as the one where he slept for 6 years, he already feels at home.

'what is it Harry? you've been quiet the whole time.' Dean asks.
'It's nothing, just a bit tired.'Harry lies and he glances quickly over to Ron who sends hi an understanding look.
'still have those nightmares then, mate?' Seamus asks and harry shakes his head.
'That's not it, I can sleep trough them now.'
'Alright.' The silence that follows is awkward, none of them really know what to say now that they're all reminded of the war.

'I'm going outside, the weather is beautiful, who's coming with me?' Neville breaks the silence almost overly cheerful, but nobody comments on it, all happy to have a chance to get away from the loaded silence.
'Me!'several voices sound in unision and Harry watches as they all quickly leave the room, leaving him to his thoughts.
'Are you really alright mate?' Ron's voice sounds from behind him.
'I'm fine, just a tad worried about the horcrux and all, just go outside.' Harry says, unintentionally sounding a little harsh.
luckily, Ron knew after all these years that he had to leave Harry alone when he was like this. If he would snap back, there would be a fight for god-knows-how-long.
