It's been quite a few days since Harry and Draco last saw each other.
Well, two days to be exactly, but it feels like much more.
So, two days before the day that they are going to tell Hermione about their relationship, Draco decides e needs to talk to Harry.'Harry!' The tall blonde whispers urgently.
The voice comes from behind a pillar and a Harry muffles a laugh, since there is no one else in the hallway. Classes are over and Harry was the last one to head to the common room.'What is it Dray?' Harry asks, still amused, when he finds Draco indeed behind the pillar.
'Nothing, nothing. I'm just a little nervous and I- What's so funny?'
Harry smiles.
'There is no one in this hallway, you can stop whispering.' He explains and gestures to the empty hallway behind them.'Oh. Right.' Draco says embarrassed and he awkwardly scratches the back of his neck.
'I should go back to the common room now, before my friends come to find me.' Harry says, and he curses himself for making it sound like he wants to escape from Draco, but he actually wants nothing more than stay with him.
'Okay.' Draco says and turns around on his heels, probably to walk towards his own common room, but he changes his mind.
'Want me to walk you there?''What? I don't think that's a good idea Dray, I mean, we could be seen.' The raven-haired boy argues, although he really wants to say yes.
Draco smirks playfully and grabs Harry's hand.
'The hallways are empty, it's Friday, no one is here. Where's the Gryfindor courage?' He asks teasingly and although Harry pretends to be in doubt, he has already given in.'Alright, but play it off as a fight when we see someone.' Harry says and entwines his fingers with Draco's.
'Sounds good to me.' The blonde replies with a wink and they start walking.
'So, have you find a way to break the news?' Draco asks after a few minutes of enjoying the comfortable silence.
'For Hermione, yes. I'm 78% sure she already figured it out. As for Ron, no.'
'78%?' Draco asks with an amused smile.
Harry shrugs.
'Random number above 70 and under 90.' He explains and Draco's smile grows wider.'Why not pick 80? That's the perfect middle.'
'Because, that would be to much, that would mean that 20% of me isn't sure, but I'm sure that the part of me that isn't sure is a bit bigger, so 22%. And stop questioning my calculations.' Harry says irritated, although You can clearly hart amusement in his voice.
Draco grins and a small laugh escapes his mouth, although it sounds a bit like a raped moose and Harry looks at him weirdly, which causes Draco to laugh even harder, until the blonde is shaking with laughter.
Harry realizes with an awed smile that this is the first time he heard his boyfriend genuine laugh, and although it's a bit raspy and could be considered creepy to the outside world, Harry thinks it's the most beautiful sound in the world.A/N
