'I think I saw my father with something lloking rathe valuable after the battle.' Draco admits. It takes a lot of effort to betray his father like this, but if his father really helps the Dark Lord, which seems highly unlikely, he has to pay for it.
'But you must understand that it seems highly unlikely that my father has anythig to do withit, you see, my father was foced to be a death-eater.'

'We'll see.' Potter says carelessy.
'What did it look like?'

'It was a small, black stone, I wasnt allowed to look at it or touch it, he said it was a gift from someone.'

'Why is it so unlikely your father has something to do with it, I mean, no offense, but your father was one of Voldemorts inner circle, wasn't he?'

'He was, but only to protect his family. You seem to think very poorly about us Potter, but I can guarantee you that we never choose to be death-eaters.'

'You didn't? how?' Potter asks suprised.

'None of your business.' Draco snaps when he realizes to whom he's telling all this, and that Potter didn't make an unbreakable vow.
'The stone was stored in a little silver globe, with a tiny snake on it.' He says quickly to change the subject.

Don't. Draco thinks when Potter leans back with furrowed eyebrows That looks ridicilousy cute.

'Did you saw any other death-eaters after the battle?' Potter asks

'Of course, they're fathers friends. Goyle sr, Crabbe sr, Yaxley, Dolohov and Zabini sr.' Draco hopes Harry doesn't notice the slight flinch when he says mr. Zabini's name. The man was killed by Yaxley, a time-delayed curse.

'Didn't Goyle sr and Crabbe sr defect? is your father still friends with them?'

'Defect? No, they're the ones constantly talking about what a shame it is that the Dark Lord is gone, and they talk about hiding something.' Draco widens his eyes when the realisation strucks in.
'They're hiding the horcrux!' He exclaims.
'So that means Crabbe sr and Goyle sr are involved, and I suspect Yaxley, he's getting along with them rather well. I saw dolohov whispering with them to, when they thought I wasn't listening.'
Draco swallows when he realizes what it all means, he had really thought his father was innocent.
'And my father as well.' He finishes.

'I'm sorry.'Harry says, seeing that Malfoy realizes that his father has something to do with it. Maybe Malfoy is a better person now. Harry can see he really thought his father was innocent. Which makes him wonder how Lucius treated his family. But he can't just go around asking his enemy how their father treats them. Although Harry isn't sure if Malfoy can be considered an enemy anymore, he's acting rather civil towards Harry. He's still a git and a bloody show-off with his big words, but he doesn't seem to be that bad.

'Don't be, I don't need your pity.' Malfoy snaps.
'What are we going to do about this?' He asks a few minutes later.

We?
'You mean you want to help me?'  Harry asks suprised.

'I'm already helping by telling you this.' Malfoy says curtly.
