Drarry; the last horcrux

Chapter 51

Everything was going exactly as Draco and Harry planned it.
Draco would randomly pull Harry into cupboards to kiss him senselessly, and make Hermione really curious about Harry's mysterious lover.
Harry would give subtle, 'accidental' hints about who could be his lover, and hopefully, Hermione would slowly realize who it was by herself.
Harry had no doubt she would figure it out eventually, she was the smartest witch of her age after all, he only hoped that the shock wouldn't be so big when she slowly figured it out.

It was Wednesday, three days before he and Draco planned to tell Hermione about them, and Harry had already dropped several hints.
Hermione now knows his lover is someone from another house, pale, graceful, arrogant and a little femine. Should be enough to figure it out isn't it?

'I think he is a Slytherin' Hermione says suddenly when they sit on the couch together in the afternoon.
Ron is playing quidditch outside with Seamus, Dean and Ginny, but Harry decided to study inside.

Harry looks up surprised.
'What makes you think that?'

'Well, you have to admin he is rather rough with you, Hufflepuffs wouldn't do that.
Arrogance is common in the slytherin house and I don't imagine a Ravenclaw pulling you into a cupboard either.'
Hermione explains and Harry nods, a blush rising to his cheeks.
'No worries Harry, it's fine by me if you want to date a slytherin, I don't think they're that bad, just watch out for Ron when you tell him.' She advices and Harry smiles slightly.

'Will do, but you didn't figure out who it is, did you?'

'No, I didn't.' Hermione lies. She figured it out, she thinks. The only ones who match the description she managed to make from all the small hints Harry dropped, are Draco Malfpy and a guy from 6th year with brown curls and flashy golden eyes. But Hermione can't imagine that silent boy next to Harry. Harry needs someone who challenges him, someone who regularly pulls him out of his comfort zone, someone who doesn't let Harry take everything in his own hands all the time. And that's why Hermione thinks that her best friend's boyfriend is Draco Malfoy.
Although she's pretty sure it is in fact the tall blonde, she still needs to figure out what she thinks of their relationship. Of course, she should be the supportive friend, but, Draco Malfoy.
