Long day at work and I come home to a filthy house.
These kids done lost they mind.
"Taj, Mon, Laysia ! Get yall asses in here."
Taj came out her room and looked at me crazy.
"Do you always have to yell when you come home? People tryna sleep."
I sat my purse on the kitchen counter and threw my hand on my hip.
"When you get yo own place you can sleep long as you want with no interruption. But right now you in my house, I make the rules, you follow em. If you got a problem with that get ya ass out."
Taj rolled her eyes.
"You gone tell me what you want or not?"
"Where Mon and Laysia?"
She shrugged her shoulders and threw herself on the couch.
"That language is not understood round here."
"I don't know mom. Mon with Shad and Laysia probably gone to the store."
"Why you sleep so late? You pregnant?"
She scold me long and hard.
"Ma you know damn well Im not pregnant."
Quan walked in the house, kissed my cheek.
"Why you cussing at ma? What she do to you?"
He sat on the counter stool and stared down his sister.
"She had the nerve to ask me am I pregnant."
My son bust out laughing.
"Ma you know she gay."
I can't stand when he defend her about that gay shit.
I just don't understand it. My sister gay, but since her new girlfriend I barely see her. Its a shame.
"Yall get my damn house clean up."
"I haven't been here I just came to get some clothes then Im leaving."
I watched Quan walk in his room as Laysia came in the house.
"Where you been Lay?"
She stood there and looked at Taj.
"I went to the store. I been sitting at the park outside eating Slim Jim's."
I nodded.
"Mhmm. When Mon get here, get this place clean up."
I went into my room and locked the door before I took my wig off and wrapped my head up.
Lord give me strength.
I took some pain meds for my headache that's caused from my treatment I had today.
The kids dont know and I don't need them to find out.
Lord just give me strength.
