Fuck Omar. I bet the next time he want some of me he won't get it.
Here I am dodging other men cause I know what he's capable of but not anymore.
Text: Rich
L: Hey it's Lay
R: Hmm. Finally decided to use my number huh?
L: Something like that, how've you been?
R: Good. You?
L: Good. I'd like to see you.
R: Where are you?
L: Home. Didn't go to school, are you at the shop?
R: Yes. I'll pick you up around the corner.
L: Let me shower, I'll text when I'm on my way.
I jumped up feeling more excited than nervous. I grabbed my headphones instead of playing the music through Quan's speakers.
Hey, let's get away and get a room on the other side of town
Hey shawty, I was feenin for you
(Was you thinkin' of me, ay, ay?..)
[Girl] Hey, let's get a room, shawty we can freak somethin' if you down
(What have you been doing?)
Hey daddy, I was feenin for youI fumbled through my closet and found a cute but warm outfit as T.I. x Let's Get Away flowed through my earphones. before jumping in the shower and using Taj's Caress body wash.
The entire bathroom smelled like Caress, scent so sweet and seductive.
I got dressed in my black jeans, white tshirt, black and white varsity jacket, black beanie, black chucks and my book bag.
One thing I've learned from Taj is if you don't have time to find something cute and colorful just find something black.
You never go wrong with black.
After brushing my teeth and texting Rich I climbed out of Mon and Quan's bedroom window to dodge Ms. Debra.
I stood around the corner by the store when Rich pulled up in a nice black outside/inside with a blue stripe Dodge Avenger.
"Pull up like you the police."
He chuckled a lil as he pulled off.
"I am the police. But I'm off and you're not in trouble so you have nothing to worry about. This is my car. You hungry?"
"Yeah. What we eating?"
We rode around for a minute until we pulled up at a nice two story house.
"This your place?"
I looked around as I took my seatbelt off.
"Yeah. Come on."
He led me inside which was nicer than the outside.
"Damn."
He laughed as he turned on his projector TV.
"I'll cook, you relax."
I slowly sat on the couch as he made his way to the kitchen.
After he finished cooking we sat at the counter and ate as we talked.
"Why is a female so young interested in older men?"
His question caught me off guard.
"Honestly I feel empty sometimes. But its like when I'm with a guy, a man I feel that empty space filled."
"Why not a guy around your age?"
"They can't do what an older man can. Their maturity level is too low."
"But there's older men out there that's more immature then some of these young boys."
I nodded my head in agreeance.
"So what makes a 25 year old talk to a 16 year old. We're 9 years apart?"
He sat up on the couch more.
"You're cute, you'll be 18 in two years. I want to get to know you, I don't want sex, not right now anyway."
It honestly shocked me to hear him say he doesn't want sex.
"Wow. Most of these older men just want sex, nothing more."
"That's cause their horny dogs, I'm not a horny dogs. Masturbation has been my friend for the last year and it will continue to be my friend until I find the right one."
I looked at him in amazement.
"I may be young but I didn't think men like you still existed."
"Are you sexually active Lay?"
I took a deep breath.
"Yeah but the guy I was messing with blowed me off so I won't be for awhile."
"May I ask who this guy is?"
"Not really sure if I should tell you officer."
He chuckled.
"Who is he?"
I rubbed my hand over my face.
"Omar."
The look on his face scared me a lil.
"How did you get involved with Omar?"
"I was walking. He stopped me, it went from there. Same way I met you."
He shook his head in frustration.
"You need to cut all ties from him. He could get you in a lot of trouble Laysia."
"I know. My sister already told me, what I'm suppose to do about the phone he bought me though?"
"Give it back."
"How? He's gone be pissed."
"Take someone with you."
I looked at him, he looked at me crazy.
"I'm an officer. He knows of me. I've locked him up so many times."
"How does he keep getting out?"
"Man got a good ass lawyer."
