"Where you been?"
I looked up at my husband caught red handed.
"Told you I had to work late babe."
I flipped on the lamp next to our bed.
"Its 4 in the damn morning. I just talked to Gina and her husband got home two hours ago, he told her y'all boss told y'all to go home get rest and be back by 6:30. Where you been Trell?"
He unzipped his body suit and removed his sweaty socks.
"Damnit Stacy, I can't come home and take a nice hot shower before you hop on my ass about another damn woman."
I looked at my husband as if he done lost his mind.
"Cause you lies Treeellll.. You full of shit Treeellll.. You caught Treeellll.. Stop acting like I'm dumb or something... Treeelllll."
He took a deep breath and grabbed some clean underwear before heading to the bathroom.
I noticed he took his phone with him.
Problems with my husband, son laying in the hospital, daughter in and out the house, step son up to no good, step daughter getting fast.
Lord save my family before its too late.
Lord save my family before you take me so they won't have to try and figure it out on they own.
Only you can do it. Only you can do it God.
Alpha and Omega, our healer and our protector.
Guide my children, guide my husband, guide me.
Only you can do it Lord.
And I'm putting all my trust in you.
Amen.
I flipped off the light after throwing some pillows at the door.
Before laying down I patted the left side of my chest, my heart.
Do it Jesus.
