"What's going on out there Ray?"

She shook her head as we chilled at Keisha's apartment.

"Shit crazy, Omar after you. He want you dead Quan."

I felt my body slowly getting hot.

"The hell you mean? Fuck I do to that nigga?"

"I don't know. You know everybody know you my boy. Ain't nobody tryna tell me nothing."

I shook my head.

"You need to get out of Greenville Q."

I looked at her crazy. Before I knew it my squishy ball when flying across the living room.

"Get out of Greenville? This my blood Ray, born and raised. This city is in me man. I can't leave, that's a bitch move."

"You want ya mama to bury you nigga? Ya lil sisters crying, Mon breaking down. What Keisha gone do? You want that shit nigga? When you dead this city gone replace you. Yo family is yo blood Q. Yeah you was born and raised here, shit me too but I'm not gone stay if a nigga tryna take me out. Its not happening."

I shook my head.

"I can't leave man."

Keisha walked in the house and went to her room. Ray looked at me.

"Thought she was at work?"

I shrugged.

"Me too, go find out what you can. Come back through later. And tell Taj hit my line."

We dapped each other up. As soon as Ray left Keisha came and sat facing me on the couch.

"What's up baby? Thought you was at work."

She sat there for a min before looking at me.

"I got off early. We need to talk."

She sat back still facing me. I know my girl, I know when something's heavy on her mind.

"What's up baby? Talk to me."

"I want you to move in."

She looked up at me without lifting her head.

"Why?"

"What you mean why? You live with your mom. Break away babe, we've been together how long and you come spend the night maybe twice, three times a week."

"There's something behind it Keisha. Talk to me. What's up?"

She leaned her head on her hand then shifted on the couch.

"I'm pregnant."

My head instantly fell back with my eyes closed.

"Seriously?"

She nodded.

"Yeapp."

I took a deep breath.

"You dont seem happy."

I shook my head as I ran my hand over my face.

"Just bad timing Keisha."

"Why? Thought this is what you always wanted JaQuan."

"It is. It's just bad timing right now. But its cool, we'll make it work."

"What's going on?"

"Nothing I can't handle."

"JaQuan Devonte Smith?"

"Nothing. Don't need you to worry, can you take me to ma house so I can get my stuff?"

She got up and grabbed her keys.

"Sure. Why not?"
