Steaming water running down washing soap suds off my body as I held my head back enjoying my shower. Whole bathroom smelling like Axe body wash.
Check it, check it, check it, uhh
I met this chick and she just moved right up the block from me
And uhh, she got the hots for me the finest thing my hood did see
But oh no, oh no, she gotta a man
and a son, doh'ohhh, but that's okay
Cause I, wait for my cue and just listen, play my position
Like a shortstop, pick up e'rything mami hittinNelly x Dilemma blowed through my apartment as I cut off the water and wrapped myself in a towel.
I danced through my room getting my deodorant, cologne, and everything I'll need to get ready.
After putting on my underwear I got dressed in my khaki joggers, red, white, yellow, navy blue polo shirt, white high top vans, with my simple white Casio watch and diamond earrings.
"6:48 pm, I can't be late."
As I checked myself in the bathroom mirror my phone rung.
"Damn who this?"
Phone: Quan
Me: What up Q?
Quan: We got problems, come pick me up.
Me: Man I got something to do in like a hr. What kind of problems?
Quan: Them Southside niggas talking reckless. O got us on a job.
Shit ! Omar got us on it so that mean I gotta go.
Me: Damn man. I'm coming.
Quan: Bet.
We hung up and I quickly brushed my teeth.
"I can't never do shit ! Always handling Omar bullshit !"
I grabbed my keys and hopped in my 2013 white body, black rims, red inside Honda Accord.
As I pulled up Quan was already waiting outside. He hopped in on the passenger side before I even completely stopped.
"Damn nigga, let me stop."
"No time, let's go."
I shook my head and drove off. Lil Wayne x Misunderstood played low as he explained what's going on.
What's understood ain't gotta be explained
But you don't understand me so let me explain
Stood in the heat, the flames, the snow
Please slow down hurricane
The wind blow, my dreads swang
He had hair like wool, like wayne
Dropping ashes in the bible
I shake em out and they fall on the rifle
Scary, hail mary no tale fairy"No guns, of course we take em with us but we don't use em unless we have to. These niggas talking big shit."
"Omar got this shit started. Now we gotta handle his business, his foolishness, his bullshit."
Text: Taj
Me: I'm sorry but I'm gone be a lil late, got some shit to handle. Don't be mad.
We pulled up at the spot Omar sent us to.
"This shit empty."
Quan shook his head.
"It look empty but somebody here."
Before we knew it gun shots rang out in the air.
It happen so quick we didn't even know exactly where or who they were coming from.
All we knew was shoot back.
After awhile the gun shots stopped and sirens rang in the air.
"Go, go !"
I sped off full speed driving with no destination.
"Them niggas started shooting out of nowhere Ray. Omar talking bout they dont know we coming. Bullshit !"
"We getting shot at cause of his bullshit man. Sometimes I think this nigga be behind this shit Quan, forreal."
We both got quiet.
"We need to check the car bro."
He said nothing.
I pulled over into an empty parking lot so we could check how bad my car was messed up.
It was pitch black around us. My phone vibrared alerting a text.
Taj: Ugh Ray ! Okay
I got a weird feeling in my stomach.
"Aye Quan check the car nigga."
I flipped on the interior light.
My heart started pounding at my chest as Quan sat there leaning over with a shirt full of blood.
"Quan !! Jaquan !!"
