"Lake, did you get into a fight?" I ask before running to the bathroom to get a washcloth for him to get the blood off then I checked his nose to see if it was broken

"Ow ow stop. Yeah, I got into a fight." He says

"Sorry. I think it's broken." I reply to him

"Let's get to the hospital." Isaac suggests.

"Can you tell me what happened?" The nurse asks Laken

"I got hit." Laken says ever so sweetly

"Well, good news it isn't broken, it's only bruised. So, you two don't go hitting him in the nose for about 6 weeks, it may swell a little and bleed a little more but that's okay." The nurse responds.

"Alright. Thank you." Laken responds

"You guys do know you have to pay for coming to the hospital." She said looking at me.

"How old do you think we are? We aren't complete idiots." I say in a really feisty tone due to how tired I am.

"Whoa, simmer down, tiger. I'm sure she was just reminding us that we need to pay them later on." Isaac says while rubbing my shoulders

"That's exactly what I was saying thank you...?" she says trying to remember his name but obviously can't

"Isaac." I answer for him

"Isaac! My daughter would just love you so why don't you give her a c-" the nurse says trying to hook him up.

"He has a girlfriend." I comment

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to infringe on you twos relationship." she says as her glance changes from Isaac to me and back to Isaac.

"Oh no, it's okay." Isaac responds while wrapping his arms around my waist and bending down to put his head on my shoulder.

"So, we can leave now, right?" Laken asks

"Yes, we will mail you the bill." The nurse replies

We finally get back home.

"Sh, guys. Dad is asleep." Laken says to Isaac and I so we stop arguing.

"Night, Lake." Say as we get to my room door

"See ya, bro." Isaac says

"Wear a condom, Isaac." Laken replies

"EW!" I say in utter disgust.

"Shh, Ridd." Isaac says

"It was a joke, loser. Night." Laken says before walking down to his room.
