Charlie Swanson thought that life in the city was the right path for her. After making a mistake and being left to live with the consequences, she moves back to her family farm in hopes to put her life back on track. With the help of her family and...
The opening of the bakery went fantastic. We made almost double what we thought we would and had a dozen resumes come in that I decided to let Mariah go through. We stayed for a week to make sure things were running smooth and then we started home. However on the way home we'd gotten a call from Jana and she was concerned that I had been getting late in my pregnancy and she was getting concerned. Since Jackie and Zach were in the car and heard the phone call they wanted to come with us. So Seth and I discussed that we were ready, and together we called Mom and Dad and told them today was the day we'd be having the twins.
Mom and Dad freaked out and we stopped at home to get a bag ready and make sure things were all in order. Jackie and Zach went home and packed a bag as well, Mom and Dad let the family know what was going on and Uncle Hank got on the first flight he could. He knew it could take a couple of hours and the flight would take three, he was hoping to be here before the twins were born. Zach let his family know and they pulled up in Zach's truck. While I sat on the porch nervously Seth and Zach hooked the car seats in. Jackie held my hand tightly and sat in silence with me. I was glad she didn't say anything, I was worried enough as is.
The drive there Seth held my hand tightly and I could tell he was just as worried as I was. Jackie and Zach went to check into the motel while we signed into the hospital. Jana was waiting for us and I was glad she was here, I really wanted her to be here when they were born. We talked to our family and we told them during the whole process we only wanted Seth and the photographer in the room. Seth would give them updates but we didn't want to crowd the nurses.
It took almost ten hours to go into labor, and another eight hours until they were delivered. Once the labor was over, I felt relieved, but there was another feeling about holding these babies, my babies. The babies I made with Seth- the love of my life. I felt giddy, excited, shaky, and... I can't even describe the feeling. These boys and Bailey were my entire life and it's hard to imagine loving something so quickly but I already couldn't imagine my life without them.
Daniel Jonathan Hunt weighed five pounds and two ounces. He was about eighteen inches long and at first he had bright blue eyes, similar to the water you'd see on a tropical beach, but they were slowly darkening to a deep shade of blue. He had some blonde hair, and was a very quiet baby when held.
Gabriel Seth Hunt weighed five pounds and six ounces. He was twenty inches long and his eyes seemed to stay the same shade as Daniel's. He also had the same amount of blonde hair, but he was very loud. He didn't seem to like being put down yet he wasn't too happy when he was being passed around.
The photographer was avid with taking photo's, some of them I thought were absolutely stunning of my angels.

From what we could tell mostly everyone was in the cafeteria or at the motel sleeping still so I took this opportunity to take a quick nap while Seth watched the twins. I woke up shortly after but I did feel better, and the nurse brought us in bottles to feed them. Seth and I wondered about breast feeding but there were two babies which meant I'd have to do the feeding alone, so we decided bottle feeding was the best option.
I think Seth was in awe the whole time. He loved rubbing my bump and talking to the babies, and now they were physically here. He could hold them, sing to them, kiss them, and it all felt like a dream. We were alone for another Half an hour before Seth went to the waiting room where everyone was waiting together. Mom and Dad were the first ones in with Jackie and Zach following close behind.
"Oh my gosh," Mom said with tears in her eyes as she took Gabriel from me and Dad took Daniel.
"They're so little," Zach said, reaching to rub Gabriel's back as Mom held him against her chest.
"Mom, you're holding Gabriel Seth Hunt and Dad, you're holding Daniel Jonathan Hunt." Dad's eyes watered and he smiled,
"Thank you." He whispered. Seth kissed my head and Jackie pulled a sandwich out of her purse,
"I picked this up for you Seth, I figured you'd be hungry." He grinned thankfully and once the twins were passed around everyone cycled through. We'd asked Jackie and Zach to come back once everyone had left and they came back with two gift bags.
"What's this?" I asked, feeding Daniel. She smiled and waited for us to finish feeding the twins. When we opened it there were two blankets, some candies, and two stuffed animals.
"Thank you so much guys." Seth said, giving Jackie and Zach a hug.
"We have a question to ask you guys," I said, watching as Mom and Dad passed the twins over to Jackie and Zach, "Will you be their God parents?"
Jackie grinned and nodded, Zach kissed Gabriel's head, "We'd love too. Thank you guys so much." I smiled and Uncle Hank and Aunt Julie were the next in and they were quick to take pictures of the twins.
"They're stunning Charlie," Aunt Julie said, Uncle Hank gave Seth a pat on the back.
"Great job kid."
Once everyone had been in to see the babies Seth climbed into the bed beside me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. The twins slept in the crib peacefully and Bailey slept between us.
"I love you so much." Seth whispered, kissing my head. I smiled and rested my head against his chest,
