Chpt. 16 ~ The technical kiss

I woke up to a noisy house. And that's saying something since its Gran's house.

After Skylar dropped me home, I went inside and watched a few episodes of Pretty Little Liars, before dropping to sleep. I don't know how I got in my room, but I'm thankful.

Pulling off the covers, revealing my Care bear pajamas, I got off the bed.

I didn't bother looking at my reflection, the last thing I needed was a heart attack this morning.

I headed straight to the bathroom and washed my face.

Once that was done, I simply slipped on my bunny slippers and dragged myself downstairs.

Yeah, I'm childish, but who isn't these days?

As soon as I made it downstairs, the smell of muffins greeted.

I almost snorted thinking about calum and his absurdly perverted mind.

"Ali!", someone called.

I turned my direction infront of me and almost regretted it.

Mom, dad, Aiden, Asher, Azariyah, those two old women I met that night at dinner, sandy, Ava and Skylar.

"Cute PJs", he smirked, "loving the shoes, too".

If this is his friendship, I think I want a refund.

I frowned.

"Oh, hush up", sandy said, jamming Skylar.

I rolled my eyes and went to hug mom and dad. Then to sandy and Ava.

"What no hug?", Skylar muttered.

"I liked you better when you didn't talk, or when you did, you were mean"

"Can't please people, huh. First you didn't like me not being your friend, now that I am, you don't like it. Make up your mind, Alisha, cause there's a lot of persons who want my awesomeness in their lives"

I rolled my eyes.

"Aren't you going to change?", sandy asked.

"Why should I?"

"Um, you do realize that you're dressed like a 5 year old, right?"

"Well I'm five, at heart", I smugly answered.

Skylar snorted. "Ofcourse, its at heart, physically you look like-"

"Say it and I'll promise I'll use your vocal tubes as a pencil holder"

That was enough to shut Skylar up.

Hmm...

"Why are you guys here?", I asked, flopping down beside asher, who was to busy on his phone to talk to me.

Best little brother ever. NOT.

"Well your gran is throwing a barbeque later, the whole street is coming, some of your friends from school will be here too"

Yippie!!!!

"Thank god for dance cause I don't think I'd make it", I muttered.

Skylar smiled, an evil smile. "Well, Als, you see the whole dance studio is coming too, so there won't be a practice session today"

I glared.

"Don't worry, calum, Zach, Cy, Shane, amber, will all be there, your best friends theo and Vanessa well be here too"

Yay, no. Nessa and I aren't in talking terms.

I groaned.

"Awww, is Ali afraid to see muffin!", azariyah cooed.

Bish.

Good thing the adults left the room cause I'd sure have a lot of explaining to do.

I glared at zari, who smirked In Reply.

"Hey, Ali", Aiden said, looking up from his PSP.

"No, aiden, I don't have money"

He was about to reply, but sighed and went back to his game.

I can feel the brotherly love in this room!

"PUT ME DOWN!!", I screamed, kicking and punching every inch of Shane's back.

You see, they all thought it would be a great idea, to kidnap me from my room and throw me in the pool.

Apperantly, so does everyone, including my parents, who are very well aware of the fact that can't swim for shit.

I feel so loved today. Nothing like a family's love. NOTHING!

"Sha-", I tried called, but I was cut of by being thrown into the pool.

As soon as the cold water touched my skin, I shivered,  I was completely emerged under water, no oxygen. I started kicking trying to get myself up to the surface, but I was getting weaker by the minute, barely finding any strength to force a proper push.

Slowly, I stopped, and my eyes battled to stay open, just as I was about to close it, someone jumped in beside me and held me in their arms, I didn't get to see who it was, my eyes had already closed.

My last thought before being completely blanked about was one thing.

Shane is a b*tch.

I felt way too much oxygen enter my body.

The force of all that air, choked me and I bagan to cough.

My eyes shot open to be faced with a pair of Greg eyes, they looked full of panic.

When the owner pulled away, I realized it was Skylar.

He let out sigh of relief and helped me up.

It was only then I realized that I almost drowned and Skylar proformed CPR on me.

So we technically kissed.

Oh my god.

Skylar pulled me into a bone crushing hug, and soon everybody was hugging me, well, everyone that actually know me.

I sheepishly smiled and hugged back.

"I'm Soo sorry, Ali. I didn't-"

"Its okay, Shane. Relax, I'm okay", I said, hugging him and giving him a smile to make him feel better.

"I feel so stupid"

"I know a way to make you feel better"

"Really, what?"

I slowly smiled and shot Skylar a look.

He nodded and whispered something to the other boys.

"What?"

"THROW YOU IN THE POOL!!", I shouted, just as the boys hoisted him up and dashed him in the pool.

He landed with a loud splash and we laughed, shaking our heads.

That was epic!
