11 months later...

"Welcome home, Leesh", Mom declared, coming out the car.

I smiled as I looked at our house.

God, I missed this place.

I had won the finals of the dance competition, securing my spot in the Richardson School of Arts and Dance. I've been there ever since, with very little communication to anyone other than my family.

I got out the car and walked into our house, leaving Dad to get my stuff.

The house seemed quite quiet without Aiden.

Aiden was finally off to collage, guess he needed to, since I wasn't around anymore to give him money.

"Alisha!", Asher yelled, running down the stairs and into my arms.

I hugged him. "You still haven't gotten cute, but good seeing you."

He rolled his eyes as he pulled away, making an opening for azariyah.

After our little reunion, I dumped my suitcases into my room and wondered around.

Mom and dad were tired from the flight and had convinced Asher and Azariyah that I was too, scoring me some alone time.

I seized the moment perfectly, grabbed my purse and snuck out the house.

The streets were as it should be for a summer vacation, but I didn't let the sun detour me from my destination.

I swear I almost fell to the ground in laughter once I got there.

Hanging from the top of the garage held a banner reading , 'SKYLAR'S BICYCLE RENTAL SERVICE. '

Oh my god!!

There were a lot of Kids riding about on their little bicycles.

I couldn't stop the grin as I walked forward, heading to the door of the garage.

Skylar leaned over helping a little boy ride a bike without training wheels. And I'm not going to lie, I almost cooed.  Almost.

He didn't notice me until...

"ALISHA?!!"

I whirled around to face extremely shocked Ava and Madison, who within seconds were in my arms.

"I missed you so much", Maddie said.

I smiled. "I missed you too."

"And what about me?"

I stood up and turned around to face Skylar.

"Five months, not one call... ", He sighed.

I held up my hands in protest.  "What?  No call? Oh no!"

He smiled.

"Your life sucked without care bears, huh?"

He rolled his eyes. "Nope."

I went up to him and punched his arm. "Admit it.  You missed them."

He pulled me in a hug. "No, I missed you."

I smiled and hugged back. "I missed you too."

"Awww", someone cooed.

I broke the hug to see Zera looking at us with fake admiration.

I rolled my eyes and hugged her. "Zera!!"

"Ali!! ", she yelled right into my ear, making me pull away.
