"What the actual fuck." I heard a faint voice say.

"You know you're not supposed to bring your hookups here!" The same voice yelled.

"At least she's hot." A familiar voice laughed, I couldn't figure out who the voice belonged to but I definitely knew them.

"Shut the fuck up." Luke told them. I slowly opened my eyes and could make out three figures standing at the opposite end of the room. I blinked a few more times and I could see normally again. It was really hot in this room.

There was a gag in my mouth stopping me from talking and my hands were tied to the chair I was sitting in. The whole room was really dim.

"Mhhmmm." I said trying to talk but not being able to form actual words.

"Shes up." Said one of the voices. The three figures started to come closer to me and I tried to move my chair back away from their approaching figures but the chair was chained to the floor.

I was so scared and I had no clue where I was. I felt a few tears run down my cheek.

"Emily you're awake!" Luke said coming to a complete stop in front of me. He removed the gag from my mouth. I took a few deep breaths before speaking.

"What the fuck Luke! Are you out of your fucking mind!? You fucking kidnapped me! Let me go right now." I screamed. Luke rolled his eyes and the other two guys laughed.

"Dude your bitch is pissed." Laughed the familiar voice. He had short brown hair and a killer smile with perfect teeth. He was really tan and kind of tall. He had chocolate brown eyes and a snake tattoo wrapping around his arm. His muscles were really nice and he was gorgeous.

"Landon if you call her a bitch ever again I will rip off your balls and break your face." Luke spat. There he goes transforming into this cold hearted freak again. I get that people get mad but it's not normal to get that pissed, it was scary.

"Sorry man I was just kidding." Landon laughed. Luke ignored him.

"Look I get youre mad and you have a right to be but I'd never hurt you, I just want to tell you the truth and this was the only way." He explained. I rolled my eyes.

"Bullshit" I said. Landon and the other guy laughed at my response as Luke shook his head.

The other guy also was very attractive. He had blonde hair and bright green eyes. His ears were pierced and he had tattoo sleeves. He had the most perfect teeth I'd ever seen and a really infectious smile.

"Wow Emily still fierce as ever." Smiled Landon.

"I'm sorry but do I know you?" I asked him. He seemed so familiar.

"Yeah actually you do, we went to the same middle school but I transferred to a private high school." He said. I thought this over and eventually remembered.

"Oh my gosh yeah, I remember." I smiled. For a second I forgot how pissed I was supposed to be at Luke, but I quickly remembered. I transferred my gaze to Luke and it hardened.

"I don't want to be with you anymore, let me go." I said to Luke in the most stern voice I could muster. Luke let out a deep breath to try to calm himself before he spoke.

"Dude maybe you should let her go." Said the other guy.

"Bryce maybe you should piss off." Luke spat. Bryce shook his head.

"Okay I'm going to explain everything to you then I'll let you leave." Luke said without making eye contact. I just nodded my head in agreement before letting him begin.

"Okay I don't know how to start this so I'm just gonna be blunt...I'm in a gang. I lied about moving here from out of state. I actually just lived a few towns over before I came here. This gang is really a family thing like if your dad was in it it gets passed on to you, all of our dads were apart of this gang. I lied about me not knowing where my dad was, my dad died a few weeks ago so I'm a new addition to the gang. Once my dad died my mom thought it'd be better to be closer to the gang headquarters. And that's pretty much it, that's the big secret, that's why I know how to fight so well, because I'm in a gang." He explained. I just blankly stared at him. Then I started hysterically laughing.

"Are you kidding!" I laughed.

"No he's dead serious." Bryce said. My laugher died down as I registered this. My boyfriend is in a gang.

"So I know you lied about how you met Peter, is he in this gang too?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm sorry about not telling you I'm not supposed to tell anyone but I almost lost you and that's the last thing I want so I came clean." He said. I could tell he was waiting for me to just except this and be okay with it but I wasn't. He had lied to me, and it was a huge lie. Frankly it was unforgivable.

"Okay let me go." I said, not making eye contact with him.

"Em I know it's a lot to take in but I swear this is the only thing I've lied about, I really do care about you." Luke pleaded.

"I need to go." I said, still looking at the floor. Landon untied my hands for me.

"Thanks." I said to Landon.

"And it was nice to meet you." I said to Bryce. I then turned to leave and walked out the room.

I had no clue where I was going or how to get home but I didn't care, I just needed to get away from Luke.

"Damnnn baby, who are you?" A tall guy asked. He was kinda cute in a bad ass way. He was wearing a bandanna, what a cliche gang accessory.

"Can you show me how to leave?" I asked him. I checked behind me to see no one had followed me.

"Only if you do a few things for me first." He replied with a smirk as he licked his lips. I was repulsed, what a dick.

"On second thought I can find my way on my own, thanks." I said as I walked past him in search of an exit.

"Emily!" I heard a voice yell. I turned around to see Bryce running towards me. Of course he was smiling, I don't think I've seen him not smiling yet.

"I just thought you might want help getting out, not that you can't find your way but it's kind of confusing." He said.

"Yeah that would be great, thank you." I smiled at him.

"No problem... So are you and Luke over? I know he really likes you, the past few days you're all he talks about." He laughed. I laughed with him, Luke was so cute.

"I don't know, I really like him its just keeping this from me hurt a lot I told him all my secrets, everything I wouldn't want anyone else to know and he couldn't share his secrets with me and that hurts you know. To open yourself up to someone and have them not be honest with you. It's not that I don't want to be with him because of this it's just that I need time to think this through." I said as we walked through the halls.

"Yeah I would too." Bryce said. A comfortable silence fell over us as we walked.

"So why did Luke have to bring me here?" I asked Bryce as we walked down a staircase that appeared to lead to the front door.

"Because it's the only safe place to tell you. Anywhere else can have other gang members or be bugged. This is the one place he could tell you and make sure no one else was creeping around or that no one who wasn't supposed to hear would hear." He clarified as we stopped in front of the front door.

"Okay that makes sense. Thanks for walking me." I smiled at him.

"No problem." Bryce said with a smile of his own. Damn this boy smiles so much.

"Theres a car waiting out front with one of our best drivers in it. Tell him your home address and he'll take you there." Bryce informed me as he turned to leave.

"I hope to see you back here soon." He called over his shoulder as he headed back upstairs.

"Thanks." I said as I left out the front door and got in the small black car out front. I gave him my address like Bryce said and he started to drive me home.

The whole ride home all I could think about was Luke and if this gang was too much. Was our relationship really worth fighting for?
