"No way, Kim Kardashion's ass is way bigger then Niki Manaji's." Ryder said taking a huge bite out of his pizza. We were all currently laying around the living room eating pizza. Landon and Peter were playing GTA and the other four of us were playing would you rather. This was kinda the guys' last hoorah before this mission where there was a chance that not everyone would make it back.

"I think I'd be Kim because she gets to be rich without doing anything and she has a cool fam." I said chewing my pizza. Bryce nodded his hand in agreement.

"Those are all good points but the question was who would I date not who would I be." Bryce laughed. I shrugged my shoulders. I was close enough.

"Okay next question!" Luke said taking another slice of pizza.

"My turn! Okay...Ryder would you rather be in love and then break up after like 2 months or never love at all." I asked. Ryder's smile fell off his face and he sat his pizza down. He began to glare at me and grip the couch.

"You bitch, why the fuck would you say that to me!" He yelled standing up. I was so confused why was he so mad?

"Its just a question chill!" I said sitting my plate down. He clenched his fists.

"Ryder she doesn't know, I didn't tell her." Luke said standing between Ryder and I.

"Tell me what?" I asked looking around the room for anyone that can answer me. The whole room was quiet and everyone avoided my gaze except for Ryder who was glaring at me as hard as could.

"You're a selfish bitch!" He yelled pointing at me before stalking out of the room and down the hall.

"Okay that was weird, what did I do?" I asked again. Bryce was holding his head in his hands.

"Its not our story to tell." Peter said quietly.

"Well Ryder sure as hell won't tell me." I said.

"Emily come and help me get ready for the mission and I'll tell you the story." Luke said heading to his room. I silently followed behind him.

As soon as I turned the corner the video game was unpaused and they began talking again. I hated being the awkward thing in the room.

Luke walked into his room first and held the door open for me. After I walked in he closed the door behind me.

"You might want to sit down." He sighed gesturing to the bed behind him. My stomach was doing summersaults. I really didn't know anything about this, I had no intentions to offend Ryder. Luke ran a hand through his hair before he started speaking.

"Ryder lost his fiance 2 years ago." He started. I took in a sharp breath. Oh my god, I had no clue, my question was so inappropriate! I covered my mouth in shock. This was so awful.

"Yeah I know it was really sad, her name was Mia." He said smiling at the memory of her. I remained quiet trying to process this.

"Ryder wasn't always this cold hearted, he used to be more of a fun 'frat boy' you could say. He smiled and laughed a lot more." Luke had a sad smile etched on his face. He stuffed his hands in his pockets as he leaned against the door.

"Mia was also in a gang so she was trained like we were. Her gang wasn't as hardcore as ours was so she wanted in on the action. Ryder said no for a long time to the idea of her tagging along but eventually he caved. It was a rescue mission to save a member of one of our allied gangs. It was supposed to be simple. This was a gang that was supposed to be super small and weak. We didn't count on then teaming up with the Snipes." He said shaking his head. I could tell it was hard for him to tell me this. He must of been good friends with her. He cleared his throat.
