Luke spent the whole day trying to make me feel better. Whatever I wanted to do he did without complaining. I got him to go to the mall with me, laser tagging, bowling, mini golf and to this new Chinese restaurant down town that'd I'd been dying to get to.

We were on our way back to headquarters and there was only one more thing I wanted to do but Luke said no.

"Come on please?" I asked.

"Emily no." He laughed. He always thought me pouting was hilarious.

"Its like ten miles until we get back to headquarters, that's not even far! I just wanna drive your amazing car." I begged. He continued to laugh as he shook his head. I turned to look out the window. I was going to implement the silent treatment.

"I know you're a good driver and everything but I never let anyone drive my baby." He explained. I didn't respond.

"Would stopping for ice cream fix this?" He asked as we neared an ice cream stand. I really didn't want to turn down ice cream but I was too stubborn to settle. I didn't answer his question and continued to look out the window. Luke sighed when I didn't respond.

"So now I get the silent treatment?" He laughed. I still didn't respond.

"Okay Emily fine you can have it your way. Once we get to headquarters you can you drive it around the circle driveway." I wasn't happy with this, I wanted to drive it on the street but I knew it took a lot for him to even suggest that so I smiled.

"Sounds good to me." I laughed. Luke shook his head. I was a total brat but he loved me. I had this boy wrapped around my finger; which probably wasn't something to be proud of but I liked knowing he cared about me that much.

We made it back within 5 minutes and I was excited. His car was so pretty I bet it drove really smooth. I was basically bouncing in my seat. Luke rolled his eyes as he pulled to a stop in front of the front doors. He was gripping the steering wheel really tight.

"You okay?" I asked him, an amused smile playing on my lips. I just didn't understand why me driving his car was so bad. I literally was gonna drive it once around a circle driveway.

"Yeah I'm fine let's just do this." He sighed as he unbuckled his seatbelt and got of the car. I followed suit and basically sprinted to the drivers side. He cracked a small smile as I ran.

"I slid in the drivers seat and ran my fingers across the wheel. It was so smooth, it felt expensive if that was even a thing. I felt kind of bad for bullying him into this.

"Are you sure this is okay, I mean yeah I did throw a fit but if this bothers you so much I'll live." I said with a small smile. Luke smiled back but I could tell it was forced, it didn't reach his eyes.

"Em its fine, its stupid how overprotective I am over this car. I trust you its okay, go." He said gesturing forward. I gave him one last glance before I put the car in drive and took off.

It was amazing. I've never driven anything so smooth, so flawless. It was so precise with every turn. I've never been into cars but this car was beautiful. I finished out the last curve before putting the car in park. Luke had been strangely quiet the whole time. I mean it only took two minutes but it was still weird he didn't make any comments.

"See and everything's still in one piece." I laughed unbuckling my seatbelt. Luke tittered as he stepped out the passenger seat.
He laced his fingers through mine as he locked the car.

"And now we do homework." I smiled up at him. Luke groaned.

"Maybe we can do a few other things first." He smirked. I hit him.

"Luke knock it off." I laughed. Luke just grinned. As my laughter died down I realized we never resolved the whole virgin thing. Maybe now was the time to fix that.

As we entered Luke's room he plopped down on the bed and I sat down next to him.

"So I think we should talk." I said wringing my hands. Luke sat up as he gave me a strange look.

"About what exactly?" He asked. He seemed really concerned. I couldn't make eye contact with him.

"About me being a virgin." I said. Luke sighed as he laid back down. He closed his eyes and didn't respond.

"Luke come on I want to talk about this." I said running a hand through my hair.

"What about it?" He said. His eyes were still closed.

"I don't know, you just seem weirded out by it. So I just wanna know, does it bother you that I don't want to have sex?" I asked quietly. The room was silent for a while.

I hated putting Luke on the spot but I needed to know we could move past this. If he had a serious problem with excepting me the way I was then sadly this relationship wasn't going to work.

"Emily I love you, I love all of you. If not having sex is what you want I can live with that. As long as we're together I'm happy." He said finally opening his eyes and looking at me. My heart fluttered, I don't think there's a more perfect answer. I smiled as I nodded my head.

"Okay." I leaned over and kissed him. Just as we were about to deepen the kiss someone cleared their throat. We had left his door open. Peter was standing there looking really uncomfortable.

"What do you need?" Luke asked him as he twirled my hair around his finger. Peter scratched the back of his neck.

"Um Ryder said its urgent that we all meet right now." He said quietly. Luke nodded in understanding before sitting up. I sighed. I didn't want him to leave.

"Do you know what this is about?" He asked Peter as he neared the door. Peter nervously cleared his throat again. He was so shy.

"Something about leaving for the mission today. He wasn't super clear about the details but I'm pretty sure we're leaving tonight. My heart deflated. I felt like I couldn't breath. I was supposed to have one more day with him. This couldn't be happening. Luke ran a hand through his hair.

"I'll tell Ryder you're on the way and meet you downstairs." Peter muttered before leaving the doorway. I just stared at Luke, waiting for his response to all of this.

"Its possible he just heard wrong so I'm gonna go find out what's really going on. You just wait here okay. Its gonna be fine. I'm gonna be back really soon." He reassured me with a small smile. He walked back over to me and gave me a sweet kiss before jogging out of the room. I fell back onto the pillows as I took in the silence of the room. Now I was just left with my thoughts.

I wasn't ready for Luke to have to go. I know I agreed to being okay with all this gang business but I wasn't okay with there being a chance I could lose him. I decided I would start on homework to keep myself busy while I waited for him to return. It was 4 p.m so he should be back before 9 at least.

I finished all my homework quickly and ended up just waiting impatiently for Luke. Hours went by and he still hasn't come back. I was beginning to worry that he had left for the mission without saying goodbye. No he wouldn't do that.

I began to get really tired. It was now 12:30 a.m and still no sign of him. I kept nodding off. I wanted to stay awake but it was getting more and more difficult. Luke was the last thing I thought about before I eventually fell asleep.
