It had been 4 days since Luke kidnapped me and I haven't seen him. He hasn't been coming to school and it kind of worried me.
I'd been thinking this whole gang thing through and how much I care about Luke and I decided it's time we talk. I texted him this morning to see if he was available to maybe go out to breakfast since it was Saturday.
I got a simple reply of "sure" without any emojis or anything. I think he was trying to make me feel bad that I needed time to comprehend all of this. If he was waiting for an apology he wasn't getting one.
I got out of bed so I could get ready. I took a long shower and brushed my teeth before getting dressed in a loose black crop top that knotted at my hip and comfy shorts that were stripped black and white and made my butt look so good. I lightly curled my hair so it fell in small waves around my shoulders. I finished off my outfit with a pair of black low top converse. I applied a small amount of makeup to cover any big blemishes and put on my favorite light pink lipstick.
After getting ready I checked my phone to see Luke had texted me again that he was on his way and would be here around 10:30, it was 10:20 already.
I grabbed my purse and my phone before going downstairs to wait. I ended up pacing in front of the front door because I was so nervous. What if he was so mad that he didn't want me anymore. What if this Ryder guy found out and ordered him to kill me! Well there I go with my crazy imagination again.
I ran my hand through my hair as I paced. Suddenly my phone bleeped signaling that I had a text. It was Luke telling me to come out. I took one last deep breath before going out.
It was crazy how hot it already was and the sun had just come up. I walked over to the passenger side before sliding into the cool seat.
"Hey" I said with a small nervous smile.
"Hi." Luke replied as he pulled out of my driveway. He was definitely mad and that was scary because there was a huge chance he didn't want this relationship to work.
"So where are we going?" I asked in hopes of sparking a conversation.
"Would you mind going back to headquarters? It's my morning for breakfast and they'd understand if I didn't make it but it could be fun, unless you don't know how to cook." He laughed.
"Yeah that sounds good." I smiled. Well if he had wanted to end things I probably wouldn't be going to his weird gang house with him.
Headquarters was surprisingly close to my house, closer then I remembered on Monday. We pulled into a big security gate before Luke drove up to the front doors.
I stepped out of the car and the house, or should I say mansion, towered over me. It was beautiful but also kind of creepy because it had gross vines growing all over it.
"Come on." Luke said holding the front door open for me. I quickly walked through, only slightly hurt that he didn't hold my hand as we walked in.
"The kitchens this way." He said turning into a room on the left. I followed closely behind and my jaw dropped. The kitchen was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen.
