After Luke helped me clean the bathroom he drove me to my house. The whole car ride was full of his annoying jokes about the bathroom incident. I was never gonna live this down.

"It really wasn't that funny. I was so embarrassed." I admitted with a laugh. Luke smiled.

"It was hilarious." He said breaking out into uncontrollable laughter again. I shook my head but couldn't help but laugh along with him.

Shortly after that Luke turned into my driveway.

"You can come in if you want, I'm not sure how long this will take." I said while I unbuckled my seatbelt. Luke smiled.

"Sure, I promise not to shit in your toilet." He laughed. Okay now this isn't funny anymore. Remember when I said I might love him? Well it's leaning closer to hate now.

I rolled my eyes at his joke before leading us to my front door. I opened the door and we walked into my empty house. I always felt a pang of sadness that my house was never filled with laughter, sometimes it seemed to lack love. It angered me that my parents didn't even check on me last night.

I wandered into the kitchen with Luke in tow. I wanted to quickly check for a note. My parents and I did that a lot, we would leave notes for each other. It wasn't as effective as texting but leaving notes was just our thing.

There was a note on the fridge.

'Dad and I have a to go to my awards dinner in Las Vegas for a few days. We'll call on Wednesday with an update. Left you money on the counter. Love you'

"Of course." I sighed rolling my eyes. When were they ever not gone? I balled up the note.

"Babe what's wrong?" Luke asked. I shook my head. He already knew about my workaholic parents so letting him know about this won't do any harm. I didn't respond I just handed him the paper ball. His eyes quickly scanned the wrinkled note before his shoulders sagged a little.

"I hate this. They just never seem to care." I said playing with a loose string on my shirt. Luke came over and embraced me in a tight hug. He smelt really good.

"Its gonna be okay, now you can have tons of sleepovers with me." He said on a positive note. I laughed, that was true, and we didn't get to watch his movie.

"I know what you need." Luke said with a small smile as he pulled away from me. I gave him a curious look.

"What?" I asked.

"Ice cream!" he replied in a 'duh' tone. I laughed before heading upstairs to change. Luke followed me.

Unlike his fancy mansion house I didn't have a bathroom in my room so I had him wait in my room while I got ready in the bathroom. It was pretty warm today so I went with a comfy black sunflower romper.

I applied my normal amount of makeup but opted for a bolder lip color today. I applied my favorite red lipstick and lightly curled my long brown hair. I twisted two pieces of hair behind my head and left enough hair out to frame my face. It was a simple summery look that I did in 15 minutes.

"Took you long enough." Luke smiled as I walked into my room. I rolled my eyes, guys were so dramatic I did all of this in like no time!

"Yeah yeah let's just get ice cream" I laughed.

"But first you should pack. If you want to sleepover the next few nights." He said as he texted someone on his phone. I nodded in agreement.

"Yeah that'd be fun. As long as you're sure you don't have like business you need to take care of." I said as I opened my dresser. Luke waved his hand at me.

"Nah, I'd rather have you hang around headquarters then be here all alone." He said. I laughed as I packed some clothes.

"I've stayed home alone before, I'm 17 years old!" I giggled. He was so protective. He just shook his head.

"I know but I like it better when you're with me." He admitted. I smiled as I finished packing. This boy made my knees go weak.

"Can we please go! There won't be a cool sunset but its our spot." I pouted. We had already gotten ice cream and now Luke wanted to go back to headquarters but I wanted to go chill on the cliff.

"We could play 20 questions!" I said in a hopeful tone.

"Babe no." He laughed. I brought out my big puppy dog eyes. Luke sighed as he finally gave in. He made a u turn and headed in the direction of the clearing. I silently fist pumped.

We pulled up a few minutes later and I practically jumped out of the car as I ran for the edge.

"Emily slow down!" Luke yelled as he ran after me. I laughed as I stopped and spun in a circle. I loved this place so much.

"Do you think I could of been a bird in another life?" I asked as I quoted the notebook, I wanted to see if Luke remembered, I had specifically made a big deal about this scene.

"What do you mean?"he asked. He seemed genuinely clueless but I kept going.

"You know like reincarnation." I said as I slowly stopped twirling. Luke just shrugged, he obviously didn't know what I was talking about.

"I guess so." He said with a small smile. It kinda saddened me he didn't remember but I needed to finish this scene and this was the best part.

"I think I could of been, say I'm a bird!" I laughed. Thinking about the movie made me happy. Luke just gave me a weird look.

"You're a bird?" He said unsure of himself. I rolled my eyes he was making this way more boring then it should be.

"Do you think you were a bird too?" I asked, I knew the line was different then that but its not like Luke was recalling any of this.

"If you're a bird I'm a bird." He smiled. Oh my god he remembered. I just laughed, we were so stupid. Luke walked closer to me so that we were now just inches apart.

"I didn't think you were catching on." I smiled, I wrapped my arms around the back of his neck. He pecked my lips.

"I wasn't for a while but after I thought about it, it rang a few bells and then I recalled the huge deal you made about that scene, you're such a romantic." He laughed smiling down at me. I looked into his perfect blue eyes and formed a smile of my own.

"I think I love you." I whispered to him even though I didn't mean to say it out loud.

"I think I love you too." He grinned. God he made me so giddy. I wish I could just pause this moment and look into his eyes forever. There isn't any color as beautiful as the blue in his eyes.

"You know I'm not huge on favorite colors and never really had one but if I had to choose it would definitely be the blue of your eyes. I've never seen anything more vibrant and clear then them." I whispered. I dont know why I kept whispering. Luke just gave me a huge smile.

"I'd have to disagree. I know this girl with blue eyes way better then mine. The kind of blue I could get lost in all day. They're big and kind and I swear when she gets really excited the blue turns a shade brighter. They have little specs of gold in them and there's honestly nothing better." He said staring into my eyes. I felt a tinge of jealousy. Of course he falls in love with someone else's eyes.

"Why are you frowning." He laughed.

"Because I wish someone would see my eyes that way. But I have the most boring shade of blue eyes that they can come in. Its a washed out blue that's nothing special." I admitted. Luke shook his head.

"See that's where you're wrong because you're the girl I was talking about, I thought you knew." He said with a bright smile. I giggled at his comment. There's no way he could see all of that in my eyes.

"No way." I said honestly intruged to know he felt that way.

"Absolutely." He whispered before he crashed his lips into mine. Sparks went off as we kissed and I was the happiest I've been in a long time. Luke made me feel some type of way.
