A/N I like this chapter. Took me FOREVER to get around to writing it (sorry), but I like it :) Hope you do too! Thanks for reading this far into it if you have!

Cameron dragged himself up the stairs and sat on the rail. The cold wasn't unbearable in his jacket, but he still hoped they wouldn't be out here all night. "What's up Zach?"

"Tell me what happened!" he demanded.

Cameron went through the story not leaving out any details. "So now we're together, but we aren't touching," he finished.

Zach nodded, as if he'd known that would happen. "That's good; you need to keep your hands off of her."

Cameron just laughed, "Trust me that will not be a problem. Although, I do have a problem with you putting my hands on her."

Zach looked sheepish for a second. "She is a fan of honesty, isn't she? I'm sorry Cameron," Zach apologized. "She kissed me without any warning, and I just got so caught up in it I didn't even think that it was you she thought she was kissing. After I remembered I got really upset. Partially because I thought she somehow figured out it was me when she said my name and then I realized she didn't, but mostly because she cheated on me with me. I've sort of been thinking that maybe you were right all along about her."

Cameron studied Zach for a second. He saw how his own features looked disheartened and the defeated posture; Cameron was angry that the two of them were forced into a situation like this. To make Zach feel better he said, "Actually, she only did it because she thought I was doing something. She stopped because you were kissing like you and not me, so the familiarity of it all made her understand that she didn't want revenge on you, she just wanted to be with you. I guess she isn't as bad as I made her out to be. I was a little hard on her I think. I mean I made her crash her car for god's sake."

He really did think that now. She couldn't be that good of an actress, and the tears were 100% real. He still didn't like or trust her though. Abby was just being too nice, in his opinion, and he still considered her a slut. Zach sucked in a quick breath when Cameron expressed his new attitude. "Wait, what? Cameron, her tormenter of the past few months, now thinks Abby is a decent person?"

Cameron gave him a sarcastic laugh and said, "I don't know about decent, but maybe not bent on ruining you."

"Do you think that will make it easier to be me?"

"I don't know," Cameron shrugged. "I just hope she doesn't change her mind about the physical stuff. That would not be fun."

Zach winked at him, "Actually it's a lot of fun." Cameron laughed at his joke, and then they were both quiet for a minute. "But thanks, for not wanting to put your hands on her. Anyone else might. She's so modest about her clothes that I forget sometimes that other guys are attracted to her too."

"I got your back, bro." They slapped backs in friendship and walked inside together, both going straight to bed.

When Zach woke up the next morning at ten-thirty everyone was gone. David, Zach's father, took Vic to school, and Abby rode to work with Kate. Michael, Cameron, and he would have the house to themselves for most of the day. He mechanically made himself a bowl of his favorite cereal and ran a hand through Cameron's wild hair that was standing up in all directions.

Michael came downstairs and saw him mussing with it. Zach turned when he heard Michael's chuckles, "His hair is unmanageable. I don't know how he never shaves himself bald."
