A/N So I am very excited about this chapter. A little more drama, a little more fun, a little more emotions running high, a little - you know what? I'll just let you read for yourself.

"Earth to Cameron, we're trying to sign CD's here," Michael's vaguely annoyed voice sounded from the kitchen stool.

"What? Oh, sorry. I was distracted," Cameron replied, turning back to the huge stack of The American Dream albums they were trying to autograph.

"I couldn't tell," Michael said sarcastically. He glanced out the window to see what Cameron had been watching: Abby and Zach in the backyard, trying to load signed albums into boxes. Trying and failing. The two were playing some sort of game and laughing hysterically. Cameron liked watching her face light up when she had fun.

It had been two weeks since the night of the concert, and since then Cameron had been acting very twitterpated. Everyone was noticing.

"Dude, I know you like her and everything, and it would be so awesome if there were two of her so you wouldn't have to steal Zach's girlfriend," he stressed the words, "but we have to get some work done."

Cameron rolled his eyes, feeling guilty again. Liking Abby freely was simultaneously the most amazing and the worst feeling in the world. But he couldn't help it. He'd even been thinking about the conversation he'd had with Zach on his birthday, about giving up his body for her. Cameron didn't think he could, but every day it seemed like the needle tipped in that general direction.

"Why doesn't Zach have to sign any of these?" he asked, wondering why his friend got to play outside.

"Because he stayed up all night while you slept in his bed with his girlfriend and had nothing better to do."

The tone of Michael's voice surprised Cameron. Since when had he been so hostile about his change of heart because of the switch?

"Are you okay Mikey?"

Michael shoved another pile of CD's towards him. "I'm just fine, but Zach probably isn't, knowing that you're in love with his girlfriend."

Cameron became defensive. "Alright Michael, what's going on? I already feel like a jerk about it, so why are suddenly being so pushy about me and Abby? You were the one who told me to go on a date with her in the first place. And I don't love her." That much was true. Although it scared him how close it was to being a lie. Cameron liked her a lot.

Michael was quiet for a second. "I've been thinking," he said after a few minutes. "It didn't used to bother me so much. But since you've been hanging out with Abby more often and Zach has been hanging out with me, we've been talking a lot more. I see his side of it better than I used to. It just...it sucks Cam."

Cameron was surprised. He thought Michael would be one of the objective one's. Zach couldn't be objective; that was his girlfriend. Vic couldn't be objective; Zach was his brother. Nathan couldn't be objective; he was hardly in the picture anymore, as sad as it was. Michael was the only one who cared about both him and Zach equally, and about Abby like a sister.

"I don't think I'm stealing his girlfriend. If anything, she's just falling more in love with him."

Michael shook his head. "Has he told you everything? Like, everything everything?" Cameron said no. "We were talking last night and I guess he's been going crazier than we thought. He blames himself, you know. For you liking her I mean."
