IZZY'S POV
Matt and Niall had left us to join the other boys a few days ago. Today was a Friday, and Alli and I's concert, which was to take place on my birthday, was tomorrow.
Allison couldn't stop gushing over my date with Niall even though it had taken place on Monday. It was just too much for her, I suppose. Even though I had told her every little thing that had happened on my and Niall's little outing, she couldn't stop insisting on hearing it again and again and again.
"But, Iz! What if he wrote a song for you! That would be so amazing, I mean, just think about it."
I giggled. Both of us were seated in my car, on our way to her house. Louise and her, oh, so lovely daughters were returning from their vacation today.
Once again, we were on the freeway when the opening chords to What Makes You Beautiful played. We both smiled a little, but we didn't get too excited due to the fact that the song played on the radio at least five times a day.
"So are all of you Directioners excited?" the man's voice shouted over the radio. "One Direction will be performing right here in Atlanta tomorrow!"
Allison turned off the radio and turned to give me a mischievous grin. I quickly looked at her, then back at the road.
"What?" I asked.
"Niall's gonna be there," she sang.
"Of course he is, he's in the band."
She rolled her eyes and started bouncing in her seat. "You know what I mean! Does he know it's your birthday?"
I pursed my lips and nodded. Allison clapped her hands and squealed.
"He'll get you an amazing present!"
"Right, right. Now get out of my car," I demanded jokingly as I pulled up in front of her house.
She raised a hand to her mouth, which was open in a perfect circle, and feigned shock. "Well, maybe I'll just have to steal your car, and you can ride your bitchcycle from now on."
"Bye!" I called.
She waved as she stepped into her house, and I departed on my way back home. What Makes You Beautiful played twice in the short time it took me to get there.
Much to my chagrin, there was already a car in the driveway when I got back. Hope and Crista were taking luggage from the car back into the house.
"Mom! She's back!" they both shouted as I stepped out my car, which I had parked by the curb.
Louise looked up from her seat on the bench by door, where she had been reading a magazine. She stood up and motioned me over. I cautiously made my way over to her.
"You girls can go to your rooms," she said, harshly grabbing my wrist.
Once Hope and Crista had disappeared, she pulled me into the kitchen. "Where were you?" she huffed, nostrils flared.
"I-I took Alli back home."
"You should have been here! Crista and Hope had to bring everything in themselves!"
I opened my mouth to protest, but Louise's hand met my cheek with a crackling sound that seemed to echo throughout the large room. My hand flew to my face, and she pushed me to the ground.
"You sh-should know that everything you have is mine. T-tomorrow I'll be eighteen, a-and-" I stuttered.
"Oh, yes. You would be the rightful owner of everything. But what good is that when you don't have your father's will, which is the only thing saying you get everything?" she spoke, abruptly cutting me off.
