IZZY'S POV
It had been two days since my late-night date with Niall, and I had probably told Allison every single detail fifty times.
She couldn't seem to get over the fact that I had kissed the Niall Horan. The fact that I had gone out with the Niall Horan. The fact that the Niall Horan liked me.
What wonders it would work for not only my social life, but hers.
She- I- wouldn't be an outcast anymore. I'd be popular, for once.
"This isn't high school, Allison," I had told her.
The day after my midnight picnic/stargazing extravaganza, I guess you could say we had gotten into a fight. I wish I could say otherwise, but that's what happened.
God, Allison was really turning into a self-centered bitch. Like, hi, I'm your best friend, and I just had my first make-out session.
Literally all she thought about was "If I tweet myself from Niall's phone, how many followers do you think I can get?"
Needless to say, she annoyed the fuck out of everyone. Well, not everyone. Harry didn't mind much. But even Matt started to get irritated by her.
I guess the Mallison ship was officially sunk.
"I know, but, come on, this is the first time ever we won't be total losers!" she had replied.
All of the boys were at a show. I hadn't gone to another one since my original I-actually-paid-to-be-here concert.
I had planned on going to the concert last night, but I had Allison-drama.
"Losers?" I repeated.
I had never been aware we were losers.
Sure, we didn't really have many friends other than each other. Sure, we never got invited to parties. Sure, we were each other's prom dates.
But I didn't feel like a loser. Because I had her, and she was my best friend, and I loved her. I didn't know I needed anything else.
"Okay," I said. "Okay. I'm just gonna head down to the arena, I guess. The concert just started, anyways."
She nodded and waved me off, her mind already fixated on something else.
I grabbed my shoes and stepped out of the tour bus.
My original intent was not to show up at the concert. No, I planned on walking around until the concert was over.
I did go to the concert, though.
I walked towards the arena and entered through the back. A man stopped me as soon as I had shut the door.
"How'd you even get in here?" he interrogated.
By opening the door, I wanted to say. But the guard was about over six feet, and his arm muscles looked like they would rip his shirt apart at any second.
He might not take too kindly to my sass, so I decided to be nice. Nicer, anyway.
"The door wasn't guarded or anything..." I said.
"You can't be back here. Do you even have a ticket? You can't even be here."
I rolled my eyes.
"I'm allowed to be here," I replied, pushing past him.
He grabs my arm. "You don't anyone in the band. You can't be here."
I frowned and tried to squirm out of his grasp. "Shut up, my boyfriend's in the band."
