Kate| Chapter 6

We are halfway through our first semester at this high school and not once have I seen Brooke and she hasn't spoken to anyone in the house other than her parents, not even Joey or Maddie which worries us all. Sky says that she met this girl named Bailey but no one else has met her so I'm curious as to who she is.

"Katy, darling we are going to the airport to pick up some old friends and their families And taking them to their hotel while they are visiting" "Ok dad, who is going with you?" "All the parents, Macy and Maddie" "How long will you be gone?" "I don't know sweety." I just smiled and nodded so just us older kids were gonna be at home alone. As they leave the dads all shout goodbye then the other teens walked into the living room to watch TV. Everyone except for Brooke was here watching 'Blended' with Adam Sandler and Drew Barymore, Noah paused the movie and before everyone began complaining I said "Guys we have something we want you to know." "Well what is up Kate?" asked Dex. Sky gave me a look as if she knew what I was going to say and I froze so Noah continued for me "Guys Kate and I are dating but the parents can't know so please don't say anything to them." "I KNEW IT! DEX, ROBYN! PAY UP!" Robyn groaned then asked "How long?" "Well, this lump asked me out a few days before our first day of school here." "HEY! I'm not a lump" then Joey said "Noah, mate you kinda are a lump" and Sky asked "Why didn't you tell us sooner?" Noah answered "We never got the chance. The parents were always around and when they weren't, Macy and Maddie were with us." It was my turn to speak "We love those two girls but let's face it, the secret would slip out of their mouths and all the hiding would have been for nothing." The others just nodded then a text came through on my phone

By the time I had sent the text back Noah had started the movie again and somehow Sky had a bowl of popcorn in her lap.

Five minutes later we all heard the front door so we stopped the movie again to welcome the newbies and greet everyone. After introductions and a bit of conversation I found out that the new teens' names are Ben, Allie, Luke and Chloë. The parents were Kenny and Korie, Brandon or Pete and Kara, Landon and Abby, Choco and Momo. The more the merrier I guess and there is still two familes yet to arrive...
