Chapter 1

Any Ordinary Day turns Bad

Brooke's POV

BEEP BEEP BEEP

SERIOUSLY RIGHT NOW I WAS SLEEPING! DO YOU FUDGING MIND CLOCK?!??

Beep

I glare at my alarm clock. It has never liked me. I then realized it was school today. Since I'm in high school I have more homework and have to wake up earlier.

I took a shower. It was warm.

I grabbed my purse and went downstairs.

"B-Brooke? Where are you going?" I hear my younger sister say.

Madeline was always shy. She was scared of everything. The world was her fear.

"Maddie. Don't worry. I'm heading to school. I'll be back at 3:00 to pick you up from school ok?" I reassure her.

She nods. I call for my brother, Joseph.

"JOEY! HURRY UP!" I yell.

"I'm coming!" I hear him say.

"Brooke I'll see you after school. I have to work a bit later tonight." I hear my dad say.

"Ok. I'll make dinner." I smile.

Joey then comes down and we leave. I wave to my dad and Maddie.

I unlock my car and we hop in.

"HERE WE COME!" I yell.

Joey is on his phone talking to his friends. Classic Joey.

I park my car and look in my car mirror to make sure my hair and makeup are on point.

I look to my Right and Joey was gone. Great.

I step out of my car and go to my Locker.

"BROOKE!" I hear someone say.

I turn around and see my friend Michelle.

"OMG! HI MICHELLE ITS BEEN LIKE FOREVER!" I say and hug her.

"I know!" She says.

After school.

"JOEY HURRY UP! We need to pick up Maddie!" I yell to my brother who was talking with his friends.

He waves goodbye to his friends and we walk to my car.

"Maddie's school is right THERE!" I say.

I park the car.

"Joey I'll get Maddie. Stay here ok?" I tell my brother who is on his phone.

He nods and I get out of my car.

I see Maddie getting pushed to the ground by someone.

I run up to her.

"HEY BACK OFF MY SISTER!" I tell the girl.

She then walks away.

I help Maddie to her feet.

"Are you okay?" I tell her.

She turns away with a tears in her eyes.

"Maddie..?"

"I didn't want to tell you guys about this. I didn't want you to get involved in my situations." She tells me with tears running down her face.

"Maddie. You can trust us. Now let's go home."

She nods and I help her walk to the car.

"Joey? Why is Dad's car here? He was supposed to be coming home later. Let's head in and see what's going on." I say a bit worriedly.

I get out of the car and help
Maddie get to the door.

"Joey! Take the keys." I yell at my brother.

He says "okay sure."

I give him the keys and he unlocks the door.

"Dad?" I say.

"Brooke? Are you guys home?" My dad says sounding a bit rushed.

"Yes. Why are you home early?" I ask.

"Go to the Living Room!" He says.

Maddie, Joey, and I sit on the couch.

"Okay. So I need you all to pack your bags."

"...? Why?" I ask.

"We're moving to Florida."

"Why? For work?" Joey asks.

"Yeah! We're moving into a big house with my old friends." He tells us.

"WAIT WHAT? WHO!" Maddie says happily.

"The pack is getting back together." He tells us.

"You have to be kidding me." I say.

"Brooke?" My dad says.

"I don't know these people. Plus I don't play video games like you used to." I tell him.

"You like drawing, photography and voice acting though." He tells me.

"Yeah but-"

"Brooke think of this as a new start." He smiles.

"WHAT ABOUT MY FRIENDS HERE? DO I JUST TELL THEM MY DAD HAS TO GO LIVE WITH HIS FRIENDS IN FLORIDA? AND LEAVE?" I yell at him.

I furiously walk out of the living room. I run upstairs and sit on my bed.

I thought Brooke would be happy. Joey and Maddie are but i need them all to like this idea.

If we're going to start doing videos again I need my family to be okay with it to.
