The sister i never knew

Chapter One: A new Wizard

Layla Prov:

"what do you think darling. Two beautiful daughters" I ask holding the two newborns in her arms

"They are beautiful just like their mother" Jude smiled looking at the two babies.

One was born with blonde hair and big blue eyes, and the other was born with chocolate brown curls and violet eyes which surprised her parents because they both had blonde hair and blue eyes.

"What shall we call them?" I look at Jude with my eyes filled with love.

"Well we agreed that one would be called Lucy didn't we my dear." Jude replied "so why don't you chose the name for this one" he said patting the head of the baby with brown curls.

"hmmmmm" I say looking down on her as I pass Lucy to Jude.

She has some aura about her which is causing the midwife to stare at her.

"Whats wrong?" I ask with a look of concern on my face

"well um ma'am....may I have the honour to speak freely?" The midwife asked me

"Very well you may" I reply to her

"well um ma'am does she look like she is glowing to you?" she says with slight panic in her voice.

As i look down at my daughter she starts to glow slightly and opens her eyes to look at me, I stroke her hair and look deep into her eyes and scenes strong magic power coming from her body. Tears filled my eyes as I look at her and know that her life will be full of trials and suffering but I know in my heart that if we care for her and love her she will grow to be a strong and beautiful wizard who will be able to help lots of people.

Jude's Prov:

"whats going on" i yell as i put Lucy into her crib.

"please be calm Jude" Layla says to me with tears in her eyes

"whats wrong my dear? is something wrong with our daughter?" I rush towards them and see that the baby is glowing slightly.

"It would seam that our daughter was born with a large amount of magic energy inside her tiny body" Layla says holding my hand with the baby in the nook of her arm

"No...." I say looking down at her. She is beautiful just like her mother with the slight glow around her body.

Children born with large amounts of magic energy in their body usually don't live for very long because the power consumes them and their small body's cannot hold all the energy. I knew this would happen to her so i looked away.

"whats wrong Jude darling?" Layla asked me with a look of concern on her face.

"She won't survive...." I say looking at her and trying to keep my emotions at bay.

"Not if we help her to control the power she has" Layla says looking at me, the tears in her eyes falling down her cheeks.

"If you think we can do it my dear....then we will try" I say wiping the tears from her face.
