The sister i never knew

Chapter Forty: Round one

Shimmer Prov:

As we stare at the Island, Master Makarov stands up and smiles at us all.

"Right everyone before the trial starts I'll go over the rules of the first round. There will be Six different routes for you to pick, three of these will have an S-class wizard on them. Two will have you battle the other team that took the duel route and the final one will be the serenity rout where you wont fight anyone. The trial will begin. NOW" He shouts.

"Come on then Grey!" I pick him up and I fly at full speed right towards the Island.

"keep going Shimmer!" Grey shouts and I can hardly hear him over the wind.

We arrive at the island and look at the different ways we could take.

"Which one do you want to take Grey?" I ask him.

"Well I think because we are here first we should take route A." He says smiling at me.

"Ok then lets go!" We high five and then walk into the tunnel.

As we continue to walk I start to feel a strong amount of magic energy and I'm sure were about to face an S-class wizard. As were walking I'm amazed by the amount of fire flies I this cave, and then we come face to face with the person we will be fighting.

Erza Scarlet.

As we both stare at her she smiles at us.

"Nice to see you Shimmer. I have to say that I hoped I would be able to fight you. No offence and all that." She says and Re-quips into her Heaven's Wheel armor.

I stand in a fighting stance and Grey moves his body into the stance that his old master taught him.

"Ready for this Grey?!" I ask as I spread my wings out.

"You know I'm ready Shimmer. Lets make you an S-class wizard!" He shouts. "Ice Make Lance!"

I start to breathe in the magic energy in the air which is like nothing I've ever tried before, so I pull in all the magic energy I can and then release it.

"Power Dragon ROAR!" I shout at the top of my voice and release the power roar.

Its much stronger now than when I first used it all those years ago. Now the colours are Blue, Silver and Pink that combine with some stars to create a powerful roar.

Erza manages to dodge Grey's attack but gets hit by mine. She stands back up and has a couple of scratches all over her body. She then changes into another armor that I haven't seen before, Its a purple and blue armour covered in stars.

"I had this made just in case we would battle Shimmer, I call it my star armour." She says smiling darkly at me.

"Well I have something too..." I smile at her.

------Flashback!---------

As I train with Leo he pauses for a minute.

"What's wrong Leo?" I ask panting from the training we've been doing.

"The Celestial Spirit King wishes for you to have this." He says and a single Star falls from the sky and lands in my hand.

"What it is?" I ask as the star turns into a long Katana with a star handle. As I examine it turning it over I see the stars shining on the cover for the Katana.(Image in Media)

"That is the Celestial Katana. I've only ever seen it once because the king only gives it to the Celestial Wizard that he trusts the most....You are very lucky Shimmer." He waves his hand and then some targets appear. "Have a practice using it Shimmer." He says pointing to the targets.

I pull the Katana from its holder and look at it again, it has a rainbow blade and is very beautiful. I swing it and a rainbow of stars come from the blade and cause major damage to the targets.

"Can I take this with me to the S-class trials?" I ask and smile at the damage I caused.

"Sure you can beautiful." He says with a smirk on his face.

"Don't call me that Leo!" I shout and we continue to train.

I pull the Celestial Katana from behind my back and take one swing towards Erza. She flies back and I put the Katana back into its holder and run over to her.

"Power Dragon Wing Attack!" I shout and cause her more damage.

She lies there beaten and bruised and I kinda feel sorry about what I just did. I walk over to her and offer her my hand. She looks at me and then takes my hand, I help her up and then pull out my Unicorn Horn and heal her more serious injuries.

"Well done Shimmer. Not only did you show me that you can beat me in a fight, but you also show compassion towards your friends. You advance to the next stage. And good luck Shimmer." She smiles and then hugs me.

"Nice one Shimmer! Why did you need ME here again?!" Grey says as we pass through the now open passage way to the next round.

"I didn't realise that it would have been over so fast! I didn't even get a chance to use my keys!" I say smiling.

I was really proud of my self because I managed to beat up the powerful Erza, all I can hope is that the next round will be as good as this one!
