The sister i never knew

Chapter Thirty-One: New Magic.

Lucy's Prov:

Someone is coming here today and i'm a little scared, I want to learn how to use mama's keys but i'm scared of who is coming to teach me. All my other teachers are a little short with me and I hope this person will like me and help me to use them. Then they can be my friends! Spetto then walks in and has a girl behind her. She can't be my teacher?! She looks to be the same as me with long brown curly hair right down her back all the way to her hips, she has beautiful violet eyes and a cute outfit. Its a purple dress with different colour frills all in the shade purple. What is amazing is that she has a grey cat on her shoulder with a blue version of her dress on. 

"Hello my name is Shimmer Pegasus." She says smiling at me.

Spetto looks at me and I stand up straight and introduce my self and we then run off into the garden to learn my new magic. I would never run inside the house normally but she is so I run with her with the biggest smile on my face. 

"Right lets begin." She says smiling at me.

"Ok I hope I will be able to use the keys mama didn't get chance to show me before....." I start to say and then bow my head.

"Dont worry I know how it feels to loose a parent so if you want to cry you can." She says softly.

I wipe my eyes and then pull out the keys that mama had left me. The keys were Cancer the Giant Crab and Aquarius the Water Bearer. I also have some silver keys which are Horologium the Clock and Lyre the Harp. 

"Cool I have those too." She says pulling out her many keys and I notice she has my keys and many more.

"How do you have my mama's keys?" I ask staring at them.

"They gave them to me." She says smiling at me. "Now watch closely and i'll show you how to summon a silver key. Its much easier to start with these because they don't use too much magic power." She pulls out a key with a blue symbol on it. "You'll love this one! This is the gate of canis minor. Now watch."

She steps forward and holds the key away from her body.

"Open Gate of Canis Minor! Come Nikora!" She says and I hear a Ding Dong noise and see a small pale blue creature come out of a magic circle.

"Wow thats so cool!" I say smiling.

"Yeah these guys don't take too much magic energy to summon so Celestial Mages use them as pets, the species is Nikora but I call her Star. Right Star" Shimmer says smiling at Star.

"Pun, Puunn." Star says looking at Shimmer.

Shimmer laughs and then closes the gate. "Right now its your turn. Hold out this Key you won't make a contract but it will allow you to practice unless you want to try with one of your keys." Shimmer says smiling.

"Can I try with one of my mama's keys?" I ask.

"Sure which one do you want to try?" She asks looking through my keys.

"Um how about Lyra? She has the most amazing voice and can play beautiful music!" She says holding out a silver key with a purple design on it.

"Ok. What should I do?" I ask.

"Copy my stance." She says holding out one of her keys for example.

I copy her stance and then she tells me what to say.

"Open gate of the Harp constellation! Lyra!" She says and I copy her.

"Open Gate of the Harp Constellation! Lyra!" I shout and they key glows slightly then I get pushed back by magic energy.

Shimmer runs over to me and helps me up while brushing the dust off me too.

"Dont worry it can take some time, you didn't hurt your self did you?" She asks me.

"No i'm ok. Can I try again?" I ask her.

"If you think you can manage it." She says then stands up.

I stand up and copy her stance again and feel something strange happening to my body, it feels like my body is filling up with something. "Open Gate of the Harp Constellation! Lyra!" I say and then I hear the Ding Dong noise and a girl pops out holding a harp.

"I did it Shimmer! I did it!!!" I shout and jump around.

"Now is the important part. Making the contract." Shimmer says backing away.

"Um hello you must be Lyra." I say smiling at the girl.

"Yep thats me! Want me to sing for you?" She asks smiling at me.

"Um not just yet if thats ok, could we make a contract please." I ask.

"Of course you can call me once every three weeks ok?" Lyra says smiling at me and patting my head.

She then disappears and Shimmer comes over and shakes my hand, She then hugs me and asks me a strange question. Did I want to fly?

"What do you mean?" I ask confused.

"Its a reward for summoning your first Spirit. Jade hold Lucy on the back like you used to do with me." Shimmer says to Jade.

"Ok Shimmer!" Jade says holding onto my back.

"Please don't drop me!" I squeal and then I get lifted into the air.

Jade carries me around and Shimmer fly's next to us, with the wind in our hair its such an amazing feeling! Shimmer goes higher but Jade keeps me where I am so I don't get scared. We then fly all over the mansion and she drops me off at my room. 

"That was amazing Shimmer!" I say hugging her.

"Dont worry about it" Shimmer says and then picks up Jade who is falling asleep. "I'll come back tomorrow and we'll summon a gold key." She then walks out of my room and I lie down on my bed my heart pounding in my chest.

Shimmer's Prov:

As I hold Jade in my arms I walk over to the Masters office. I knock the door and wait for him to call me inside.

"Well how did it go Shimmer?" He asks me.

"It went very well sir she managed to summon a Silver key and I was hoping that I could come back tomorrow and show her how to summon a Golden key, If thats ok with you that is." I ask.

"Very well you may stay here tonight if you wish, or I can ask one of the servants to house you for the night." He asks me looking at me with intense eyes.

"Um might I stay here sir?" I ask smiling.

"Very well. Spetto!" He calls and Spetto walks in smiling. "Take her to the guest room please." He asks.

"Very well sir. Come along little one." Spetto says to me.

"Thank you sir also what is your name I never did ask so please forgive me." I say bowing down slightly.

"Its Jude Heartfilia." He says and goes back to work like last time.
