Chapter Thirty-Eight: S-Class Trials.

Shimmer's prov:

Its been a couple of years since Jade and I joined Fairy Tail. We have had so much fun here and have been able to develop our magic! I continue to get stronger with my Celestial Spirit magic and Jade has been able to train her self to have a fighting form, she can grow to be the same height as me and has been working on using a bow and arrow. Natsu and Grey still fight as often as ever but Natsu, Grey, Erza, Lisanna and I have been going on jobs as a large team. We dont go on every job together because we all have to be able to get enough money for rent but its so much fun when we all go together because we all have different magic.

"Hey Shimmer wanna fight me?!" Natsu yells over at me.

"Really again Natsu? We just finished a fight and you can hardly stand!" I say sighing at him.

He looks like he is about to argue back but then master gets up on the balcony and holds up a piece of paper with some writing on it.

"Listen up Brats! Its that time of year again where I will select six people to participate in this year's S-class Promotion Trial, that as always will be held on Tenrou Island. This years participants are!" He says holding the paper.

"Natsu Dragneel!"

"Lisanna Strauss!"

"Shimmer Pegasus!"

"Cana Alberona!"

"Elfman!"

"Levy Mcgarden! That is all the participants for this year's trial! We will meet at Hargeon port in one week and you will all be able to choose one other guild memebr to help you in the trial! The only condition is that they need to be a member of Fairy Tail and they cannot be an S-class Mage." Master says and then walks back into his office.

Lots of people are cheering and seem to be happy about what just happened and I am also very happy! I could become an S-Class Wizard! I start looking around to see who could be my partner. Over the two years I've been here Mirajane and Erza have become S-class wizards, they came back battered and bruised but with huge smiles on their faces because of what they achieved. Jade sits there and shakes her head at me.

"I guess you don't want to be my partner Jade? Why not you and I would be an amazing team!" I say sitting down next to her.

"Nah I helped as part of the team last year so I think this year I'll sit on the side line and watch my best friend become an S-class wizard!" She says and jumps into my arms hugging me tightly.

"Thanks Jade I don't know what I'll do without you."  I say hugging her back.

I place her back down and continue to look for a partner. I know!

"Grey!" I shout flying over to him.

He stops what he was doing and smiles over at me. Ever since I met him he and I have become very close.

"Hey star what's up? Oh and congratulations for getting put forward for the s-class trials." He says using the nick name he gave me when he first saw my star magic.

"Snowflake I wanted to know if you wanted to be my partner in the S-class trials." I say smiling at him and offering him my hand. Snowflake is my nick name for him because he uses ice make magic.

"Of course I'll be your team mate Shimmer!" He says and instead of taking my hand he picks me up and hugs me.

I laugh and get some strange looks from Mirajane. She waves at me to come over and then has a smirk on her evil face. No wonder they call her the She Devil.

"So......You and the stripper eh Shimmer?" She says smiling at me.

"No Mira...Were just friends trust me." I say and fly outside but not before picking up Grey as I fly over head and carry him outside with me.

"What the hell Shimmer!" He shouts as I carry him.

"Well we need to start training Grey! If I want to be an S-class Wizard we need to train hard and I know the perfect place." I say flying down and placing grey on the grass. I've dropped us in a large open field and know the best place for us to train.

"Before we go there you need to change clothes ok? Open Gate of the Maiden! Virgo!" I shout and Virgo appears right before us.

"Here are the Celestial Garments Miss Shimmer, Master Grey." She says and then passes me a key. "You know what to do ma'am." She says and then disappears.

I smile over at Grey and then run behind a tree to change. The outfit Virgo gave me was a pale blue kimono that came to my mid thigh and has a smoky look, It also has long boots that come just above my knee. I attach my keys onto my hip and then come from behind the tree. Grey stands there in a deep green suit and pants with a gold pattern on them.

I smile at him and pull out the key that Virgo gave me. "Ready?" I ask Grey.

"Ready for what?" He asks and I just continue to smile at him.

"Open Gate To The Celestial Spirit World!" I shout and a gold magic circle appears under our feet. It glows so brightly that Grey covers his eyes. The magic then lifts us up into the sky and pulls us into the stars.

 Straight to the Celestial Spirit world.
