Chapter Thirty-Six: Double Dragons? Double Trouble!

Shimmer Prov:

Three HUGE Wyverns!!!

"Ready Natsu?" I ask holding out my hands with magic power on them.

"I'm all Fired Up!" He says lighting his hands with fire.

We leap forward and attack two of the Wyverns.

"Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Natsu yells at one of the Wyverns.

"Power Dragon Crushing Fang!" I yell at another one.

The two fall but then get up with very little damage.

"Natsu I have an Idea! Lets do a Union Raid!" I shout over to Natsu. "Its a powerful spell that I'm sure we would be able to use and defeat all of them!" I continue.

"Lets do it then Shimmer!" He shouts back at me.

"Happy! Jade! Get out of here I don't want you to get hurt!" I yell to them then fly over to Natsu.

We hold each other's hand and then wait for the Wyverns to attack us. Just as planned that all attack with a Breath attack which causes the cave to fill with fire. Natsu begins to eat the fire and I eat the residual Power from the blast.

"FIRE DRAGON!" 

"POWER DRAGON!" 

"ROAR!!!! UNISON RAID!!!" We both yell and our breath attacks combine to cause one huge explosion that managed to defeat the Wyverns but also the whole cave.

"Damn that was powerful!" I pant as I sit down on the rubble.

"HaHaHa Your right Shimmer that was amazing!" Natsu yells dancing on the rubble.

We sit there and get our breath back when we hear hundreds of foot steps running towards us. We look and see the whole town has turned up to see what was the huge explosion.

"What the hell did you two do?!" The mayor asks me.

"Well um sir we are both Dragon Slayers so we decided to try a union raid to defeat the Wyverns and it would seam that we went a little over board. We are very sorry sir!" I say a little scared.

"Dont worry at all my child! We just thought that you were killed by the monsters! While I will have to tell the magic council about the explosion and the destruction of this mountain cave. I will happily pay you both in full for getting rid of the monsters who plagued our town for many years!" The mayor says happily.

Natsu and I smile at each other and accept the reward for defeating the Wyverns.

"Also here sir. I found these in the cave and I know for a fact that you could use these to fix the damage that Wyverns did to your village. They are a rare item so please take these." I say giving the mayor the Wyvern scales.

"What! SHIMMER!!!" Natsu yells at me for giving him the scales.

"Thank you child!" The mayor says as we head towards the train station.

"NOT THE TRAIN!!!" Natsu yells.

"I'm exhausted Natsu come on its a two day flight to Magnolia!" I say and buy the tickets.

We sit on the train and I see what Happy was on about with Natsu's motion sickness! Nat's face is a deep purple colour and his cheeks are swollen. Happy sits there eating a fish from his little bag. Jade looks at him enviously.

"Shimmer where is my fish?!" Jade asks me.

"I'm sorry Jade I don't have any with me." I say sadly.

She sits there sulking while Happy eats his fish.

"Hey Jade want one of my fish?" Happy offers her.

She smiles and says her signature catchphrase. 'Sounds Fishy!' She says excitedly. Happy passes her a fish and they both eat happily while Natsu sits there about to be sick. What a strange sight we must be . Two cats in clothes eating fish, A girl with wings and a star mark on her head and a motions sick boy with a purple face!

At least we managed to get paid!
