Chapter Forty-Eight: First Kiss.

Grey Prov:

As I walk over to the guild hall I think about one thing, and one thing only. Shimmer. Ever since the S-Class trial where we teamed up together I've thought about nothing else, and when Lisanna was killed I realised how much she meant to me. So when she asked me for a favour I decided to see if something could ever happen between us, I took my chance and I'm glad I did. I've dressed up in a dark blue suit with a white shirt, I've also picked up a single red rose to give to Shimmer.

As I arrive at the guild hall I walk inside and wait for her to come. Everyone looks over at me and giggles, Mirajane however is looking over at me with hearts in her eyes. Typical Mira. And that's when I see her. She takes my breath away with her beauty. Wait what the hell am I saying?! I sound like some lovey dovey freak! I actually am starting to sound like Loke, that dude has a different girlfriend every week. No every Day! Well I hope she enjoys our date tonight, I have some special things planned.

Shimmer's Prov:

I walk down the stairs instead of flying so that I don't mess up my hair, although there is so much hairspray in my hair I doubt it will move at all. But Grey is there waiting for me. I walk over to him walking as gracefully as I can because I have to say, I'm not the most lady like person, partly because I wasn't raised by humans at all. I smile as I walk over to him and then tuck a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Hey Grey." I say smiling at him. Some people wolf whistle at me but I just ignore them.

"Hey Shimmer are you ready to go?" He asks me offering me his arm.

"Yes I'm ready. Lets go!" I say taking his arm and we walk out of the guild hall.

As we walk Grey passes me a beautiful red rose.

"This is for you. Here let me." He says placing it on my dress.

"Thank you Grey, Its beautiful." I thank him and we continue to walk around Magnolia.

As we walk Grey points out some things that I haven't noticed before, like how from the top of the guild hall you can see all the way to Hargeon. We then start walking up the huge hill that shadows Magnolia, as were walking I see there is a pathway lit by candles. As we continue to walk there are more and more candles until the whole area is lit with them and also fairy light lacrima's hangig from the trees in the area.

"Grey...." I say breathless.

"I wanted this to be special. Did I go overboard?" He asks me.

"No you didn't. This is amazing....I don't even know what to say about all of this." I say looking over and seeing a table for two. "I never knew you were the romantic type."

"I aim to please." He says pulling out a chair for me.

I walk over and sit down while Grey pulls out a picnic basket filled with food. There is a baguette with some ham and cheese cut into nice bite sized pieces, some of my favourite soup made by Mira. Its a green soup with chicken and potato pieces but with some grated cheese on the top and the baguette its a beautiful thing. And to top it off some of Erza's famous Fairy Tail Strawberry Cake.

"You didn't need to do all this Grey."  I say blushing slightly.

"Yeah but I wanted to. Because I'm with you Shimmer." He says putting some bowls down on the table.

I smile at him and we tuck into our meal. I have to say that I'm impressed with all of this, because I didn't know that Grey was like this. I mean he is always picking fights with Natsu and has started hanging around with Loke....Wait a minute....

"Grey can I ask you something?" I say as he puts some strawberry cake onto my plate.

"Sure." He replies to me.

"Did Loke help you with this?" I ask smiling at him and taking a mouthful of cake.

"Um.....Maybe a little......" He says blushing.

I smile at him and then begin to giggle which is difficult when you have a mouthful of cake. He then smiles at me and begins to laugh along with me until we are both clutching our sides and fighting for breath. I wipe the tears from my eyes and then see the sun starting to set.

"If you will excuse me for a sec, I have my job to do." I say standing up and opening my wings.

"I'll be here waiting." He says watching me.

I leap up into the air and begin the job of releasing the stars into the sky. Its such a rush when it happens and its not using as much magic energy as it used to, which is much better now because I used to put the stars into the sky and then pass out from using so much energy. But through the years I've gotten stronger so that must play a big part in it, so once the job is done I fly down to the ground and smile at Grey. And I was right. Not a single curl of my hair is out of place, so I must not look too bad. Grey walks over to me and wipes my cheek, I must have had something on my face but then his other hand comes to my other cheek and he smiles at me.

"What are you doing Grey?" I ask him confused and nervous at the same time.

"Shimmer, I think its time to tell you that I have feeling for you. I have since the moment I saw you. Even though you were injured and weak there was something about the aura you gave off that I was drawn to. I hope you don't mind me saying all this." He says blushing slightly. Wow Grey is Blushing?

"Don't worry Grey its fine. I feel the same about....." I don't even get to finish.

Because his lips are locked onto mine.

Its nothing that I've ever felt before, its slightly euphoric. I feel my cheeks burn but then we start to sink into it, his soft lips against mine make me feel like we are the only two people in the whole world. He runs his fingers through my long hair and my arms wrap around his neck. That's when it hits me.

This was my

First Kiss....

Hello everyone! Thank you all for taking the time to read my book and I hope you are all enjoying! Please comment on what you think and I hope you don't mind that there are some typos. Once this book is done I will be going through every chapter and fixing and editing the whole thing.

Also as you can see from the last two chapters I kinda want to see how a relationship between my character and Grey would look like. Because I have a soft spot for Grey so I want to see how this works out. Sorry if everything is going a bit fast and I hope you like my writing style.
