Chapter Nineteen: Shimmer Pegasus

Mystica Prov:

As I look over and see all the new Unicorns celebrate and all the new Pegasus test out their wings, I see Shimmer still there trying hard to give her magic a form. Jade sits here next to me as we continue to watch and then her body starts to glow. And I cant believe what I'm watching right now! What is happening to her?!

Shooter's Prov:

Whats happening to Shimmer?! I've never seen this in all my time as King of the Pegasus Clan I've never seen what I'm seeing right now! I guess we should have seen this coming as she is human but I'm still amazed at what I'm seeing right now. She truly is amazing.

Shimmers Prov:

As I continue to pull magic energy into my body I can sense that my body is starting to glow brighter and brighter until I think what Shooter told us to think.

Form.

And with that I feel something strange on my head but also on my back. I reach up to my head and find a long pointy horn. It shines in the moon light and then I reach behind my back and feel large wings. I look behind me and they are a pair of snow white wings and I look into the water to see what colour my horn is and its a beautiful rose gold colour. I'm amazed! NO ONE EVER SAID THIS COULD HAPPEN! I look behind me and see that everyone is as amazed as I am!

I spread my wings wide and then leap up into the sky and start to fly around with everyone else and then use the new magic I have to place brand new stars into the sky. Its such an amazing feeling to be flying around like this! Its what Jade must feel like!

"Look at me everyone!" I shout down at all my family.

Shooter comes up next to me and we fly in sync and place stars together. Its an amazing feeling it really is. All the other new Pegasus and I fly back down to the ground for the naming ceremony. This is as I said before where we get our last names.

"Come forward Shimmer." Mystica and Shooter say in union.

I step forward and bow down to them.

"Shimmer because you are unique we are offering you the choice to choose which name you would like to have. Because you posses both Human, Pegasus and Unicorn powers we would like you to choose your name." Mystica says to me.

I look at shooter and think about how my name would sound if it had Pegasus at the end of it, and then I look at Mystica and think about how my name would sound with Unicorn on the end.

"I have made my decision." I say standing up and turning back to everyone.

"And what did you decide my child?" Shooter asks me.

"My name will be Shimmer Pegasus." I say and open my wings as wide as I can. And then I use my horn to shoot a bright star into the sky. Everyone gasps and then cheers for me.

How can my life get any better!
