Chapter Thirty-Four: A Team?

Shimmer's Prov:

As I wake up in my room the window is still open and a cool breeze is blowing through my room. I sit up and stretch my stiff limbs and climb out of bed, I look over and see Jade sleeping under her star sheets and decide that I wont wake her. She had a nightmare last night so didn't get much sleep, so I climb out of bed and then look for something to wear for the day.  I decide on a pale pink dress and it has a white bow around my chest, It also has a matching cuff to go around my upper arm (picture 2 in media) I pull out Cancer's key and summon him

"Open Gate of the Giant Crab! Cancer!" I shout and the ground glows and I hear the familiar ding dong noise and he appears in front of me.

"What can I do for you today-Ebi?" He asks his scissors at the ready.

"Just twin pigtails today please Cancer." I ask sitting down on the stool by my desk.

"Very well-Ebi." He says and then styles my hair for me.

He finishes then disappears. I stand up and walk down the stairs leaving the door open so Jade knows where I went. Down stairs its still empty so I decide to cook some breakfast in the kitchen. I walk into the kitchen and pick up some eggs along with some ham and cheese. I crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them up and then chop up the ham and cheese, as I'm doing this I hear the door to the guild open so I step out to see who it is.

"Oh hello Lisanna, Mirajane and Elfman." I shout waving to them.

"Hey Shimmer. What are you doing?" Lisanna asks.

"I woke up and decided to come down, no one was here so I was making breakfast. Would you like any? I'm making an omelette with ham and cheese." I say smiling.

"I would like some!" Lisanna says and the others nod.

"Want some help?" Someone asks.

"Mirajane you want to help me do something?" I ask confused.

She smiles at me and we both walk into the kitchen, we chat and cook the omelette's together and then sit down and eat them. We talk about what brought us to Fairy Tail and also what magic we have. It turns out that all of them use Take Over Magic, which I would love to be able to do.

"Maybe you could teach me how to use that magic! I would also like to help you with my magic if I can." I say smiling at them.

As were talking more and more people come into the guild and start looking for jobs, so I say goodbye to the Strauss family and walk over to the request board. I look for one that will involve not only travel but fighting too. I want to use more than just my spirits because I would hate for them to get hurt when I could have helped them, so I find a job that wants someone to come and help get rid of some monster. Its 200,000J which is a lot of money so I decide I will take this one.

I walk to masters office and knock the door.

"Come in." Master calls and I walk into his office.

"I would like to take this Job Gramps." I say and show him the flyer.

"Well I don't feel comfortable sending you on this job alone Shimmer. I understand that you are strong but take someone with you." He says looking at the request.

"I'll take Jade with me." I say.

"I don't mean Jade my child, Take another guild member with you like Natsu, Erza or Gray." He says passing it back to me stamped.

"I'll go ask the first one I see." I say and run to pack a bag for the trip.

I run to my room and see that not only is Happy there talking to Jade but Natsu is there too. I start to pack a bag for me and Jade.

"Where are you going Shimmer?" Happy asks me.

"I've got a Job request to fight a monster and I was going to ask if you and Natsu want to come with me." I ask smiling at the little blue cat.

"Aye!" Happy says and Natsu just looks shocked

"You want to work with us?" He asks me.

"Sure two Dragon Slayers fighting together! It will be AWESOME!" I say and hold my hand up for a high five.

He high fives me then runs off to pack a bag. We agreed that we would meet back here in half an hour so that we can fly there, I don't know why Natsu wants us to fly there but oh well I guess because hes coming with me we all will have to help each other.

I sit and wait for Natsu when he kicks the door down and walks in smiling his big goofy grin.

"Lets go Team!" He shouts and Jade and I get up ready.

"Team?" I ask confused.

"Yeah were a team now, well at least for this job." He says smiling.

We then both run out of the guild and Jade and I leap up into the air and Happy picks up Natsu and we fly off on our new Adventure.

Who knows what this next chapter will hold!
