Chapter Forty-Two: Newest S-Class Wizard.

Shimmer's Prov:

As Grey and I walk towards Master Makarov he has a sly grin on his face. We come into a large area with tall walls surrounding it, vines cover every wall and I notice the grave behind him. I look over to Mavis who is smiling at me and then Grey and I continue to walk to Master.

"Welcome Grey Fullbuster and Shimmer Pegasus. I have to say Shimmer I'm not surprised that you were the one to come here first. Might I ask how you managed to find it?" He asks us.

"Well sir...." I start when I feel a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't look at me or he will become suspicious, I want you to tell him that you just had a feeling and decided to trust your gut. But when you manage to become an S-Class wizard I want you to tell him then, and also tell him that he has done an amazing job at raising the next generation of Fairy Tail." Mavis whispers to me.

"Well you see Master I had a strong feeling inside me. The feeling told me to follow it and so I did, I then used a signal flair to summon Grey like we said we would do in training. So I then called him here and here we are." I say smiling.

He thinks about it and then nods.

"Very well Shimmer. You and I will be fighting, Grey you will sit on the side line." Master says to him.

"Awh MAN!" Grey says and then sits down where master was sitting before.

As I walk towards the Master he walks towards me. I open my wings and then we begin to circle each other in a fighting stance, when all of a sudden Master Makarov turns into a giant! With a brilliant glow around his body he then grows as tall as a tree and looks down at me. So he wants to play like that? I fly up into the sky and ignite my hands with power. The power on my hands glows a deep purple and pale blue with stars around them, I've been training to combine my star magic and power magic to help me get stronger.

"Power Dragon Wing Attack!" I shout and fire my magic energy right into his chest.

He moves his hand in one swift motion and blocks my attack. I pluck three feathers from my wings and turn them into steel, the feathers are then replaced on my wings and hold the steel feathers tight in my hands.

"I call on the light of the stars....

To help me to victory

May my spirits guide and the stars follow

and my feathers find their target!

Celestial Dart Ignite!" I yell and throw the darts straight to Master Makarov.

I hear a cry of pain and see the darts have implanted themselves into his skin. One in the arm, One near his chest and One in his leg. He pulls them out and then shrinks down to his normal size, he looks at me as I fly down to him and stare. I pull out my Katana and then use another one of my Combination Attacks.

"I call on the stars to find their Sister....Celestial Katana!" I swing my blade and then hear a louder cry of pain.

The Master shrinks down back to his normal size and then lies there with many cuts and bruises all over his body. I fly over to him and then just stare. I look at him covered in bruises and then touch the Unicorn pendant on my necklace and my horn appears on my head, I pull it off and then use the healing magic to heal his serious wounds. They slowly disappear and he wakes up, I can feel Grey staring at me and then Master Makarov smiles at me.

"You have such amazing potential Shimmer, I noticed it the first day you came to Fairy Tail. Magic energy was coming off you in waves and you only used your magic for good, most people with your level of magic energy find it hard to stay on the path of the light." He says to me. "You have something that makes you different from all the other people with your level." He continues.

I stare at him in awe, ever since I came here he has been like a father figure to me which with my history is something hard to come by. I was scared to start calling him Gramps like all the others because I was scared that something would happen, It's also taken me a while to be able to trust my friends fully but I know now that Fairy Tail is my true family.

Master takes my hand and then smiles.

"Congratulation Shimmer. You are the newest S-Class Member."

I look at him and then hug him tight. He feels confused for a moment but then wraps his arms around me, I've missed this feeling. The feeling of love.

Master stands up and pulls out the Congratulations Flair Gun, and points it into the sky. It explodes into a golden light and then spells out the words 'CONGRATULATIONS SHIMMER THE NEWEST S-CLASS MEMBER!'

I hear cheers from around the forest and then Master teleports us all over to the docks, where we board the Fairy Tail ship and go back to Hargeon.

"Natsu I swear if your going to barf all over me I will throw you into the ocean!" Grey yells at Natsu while he is swaying on the ship.

"Hey Jade get over here." I say calling my friend.

She fly's over to me and sits on my shoulder.

"Congratulations Shimmer I'm so proud of you!" She says wrapping her paws around my neck and then swinging down into my arms.

"Thanks Jade how did Lisanna do? Was she ok with everything? I mean she first had the serenity route so didn't do any fighting and now she didn't make S-Class. I hope she isn't too disappointed." I say while looking out at the sea, its so blue and beautiful I love looking out at it.

"Yeah she is a little disappointed but Mira said that she would take her and Elfman on some S-Class jobs that aren't too dangerous, so she is happy about that." Jade says smiling.

I smile and then walk over to where we will be spending the night. You go down underneath the ship and find two doors, one says girl and the other boys. Inside the girls room there are some bunk beds covered with a flower patters quilt and there are dried roses on the chest of drawers, the walls are a pale blue colour and there are flower curtains. On the floor there is a dark brown wooden floor with a soft white fluffy rug.

"Hey I could get used to this!" Jade says flying from my arms and lying down on one of the beds.

"Hey Jade you are sharing with me, don't think you have your own bed." I say laughing and then picking her up and placing her next to me when I lie down, I wrap my wings around us and I can hear the other girls come in.

"I forgot to do something!" I say jumping out of bed. Much to Jade's disgust.

I fly out of the ship and place the stars into the sky, I love doing this now and it doesn't feel like a job anymore it feels like something I was born to do and something I've been doing my whole life! Everyone comes and watches me which has become a little routine now. I then fly back to where we're sleeping and wrap my wings around Jade and I, as I start to drift off to sleep I feel someone pull the blanket over me and Jade even though we have my wings to keep us warm.

"Good night my beautiful Shimmer....." I hear a male voice say and then the door closing.

Everyone in the room then begins to whisper about the mysterious person who came into our room.

"That was so cute!...." Some one whispers.

"Did you see the way he looked at her...now that was love right!" Says another.

"Well they were team partners. And they work really well together, don't you think?" I think Mirajane says.
